I would like to see some manga where the male mc loves the female lead, but he loses to another guy at first in a love triangle. Eventually the female lead comes around and realizes she loves the male mc.
Props to you if you can get me one where the male mc and girl are friends and because she's with the other guy, it takes a toll on their friendship as well.

Can you explain in spoilers? Because it seems like the mc is a girl in this.

Well, if you count the male lead as a main character (which he should be), then the plot goes exactly as you wanted, where the female mc goes to another guy at first, then realizes that she loves the male mc, but until then they are good friends. Just read it for yourself - it's a quick read.

The male lead isn't the main character because the main character is the character through which we experience the story, so no Cat Street doesn't work since the main character is the female lead.
This is a fairly difficult request since these sorts of manga tend to have a female mc. The only one that I can think of that kinda fits your request is Sekine-kun no Koi, and the love triangle is in the past and the mc ends up with someone else.

I've been meaning to read Sekine-kun, but when I refer to girl, I mean the female lead.

Oh, so you want a male who loses the girl, but eventually gets her back? Um.... Not romantically, but Koe no Katachi?? Wait no that doesn't work, there's no other guy... EEERR nevermind

Well the mc might have never had her, but the female lead choses the other guy over him first.
Yeah, I've read Koe no Katachi, only thing I didn't like was the ending. It was a little too vague/open ended considering...
It was incredibly clear they liked each other. Now I don't need a kiss always, but just some confirmation that they get together.

Maybe Hirunaka no Ryuusei? The love triangle is pretty complex, so hopefully you won't be able to guess who the girl ends up with in the end! But it's complete, and the art is amazing.

Not really.
I mean even though she loved Shishio at first, Mamura was there for her the entire time and I figured she would fall for him at some point. I see people surprised by that ending, but I wasn't. I actually thought it was done well. I'm excited for the live action movie that's coming out this year.
