I like storylines where the girl helps the boy some how, such as getting over a major problem or helping them live in society and become more normal. Some examples are Tohru and Kyo in Fruits Basket, Mikan and Natsume in Gakuen Alice, and Sana and Akito in Kodocha.

Any genre is fine but it should have romance. Also no yaoi, yuri, ecchi, shounen-ai, smut etc. please.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to the NHK! is pretty much a perfect example of that. The main character is a hikikomori, and the female lead attempts to cure him of his irrational phobias and integrate him into society.

NightSwan also said that she wanted to peg me, once, but I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or a threat...

Tho in the end they sorta save each other.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was already reading Akuma to Love Song and Beast Master but I've added the others. Yay for more manga to read. 😀

Well I doubt this is what you're looking for...
W Juliet
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
but read them anyway. These girls got spunk (lol, felt funny using that word).

Claymore 😀 Though no romance there..
Ok, getting to the point:
Vampire Knight kinda fits, but I don't think the plot's going anywhere right now..
Hanasaki Sentimental, maybe, but it's short and I hardly remember the plot.
Peter Pan Syndrome might work..she kinda gave him a direction in life I guess?
Ah I'm just kind of spouting out whatever and tweaking it so it seems like I know what I'm doing 🤢

Definitely Spiral, where the main girl helps the boy to solve detective cases. Hiyono-chan is the best example of what you're looking for.

It could kinda fits also for the second part of Mx0, where Lucy helps the main character to hide his secret (but Lucy is not human and she doesn't appear from the start).
