Ever found a manga with a great plot, great characteers? A manga that even the anime was good?
You open/flip to the first page, and what do you see? A disaster.. the art sucks 😲

I can't read manga with bad art (you probubly know, I rant about it all the time 😛 ), I saw that there are might be people like me^^

So, what manga would you want to see redrawn?
State your opinions, I might count the votes and put them here^^ (If a manga gets enough..)

ive seen some great stories with horrible art, but they've grown on me b/c of everything else.(the hating girl) i'd hate to see them without they're "distinctive" art now

Elfen Lied seconded, everything was great, but the art was hmmm.. well lame, someone really should redraw it to make it a perfect manga in both story and art

I agree, still there are manga where the author isn´t the one that does the art (Hikaru no Go, Death Note, etc.) and are good. Well, i ´m not really picky with the art, but i think a different version of "The violinist of Hameln" would be interesting.

I really like the art in Elfen Lied.
Now I would redo Rave Master. Mainly I just want Mashima Hiro to do again now that his skill has vastly improved.
I was thinking One Piece, but I don't know. The goofy art might be purposeful.

Hunter X Hunter at some points, Berserk at some points as well. If you've read either of these then you know what I'm talking about.

One piece? I think the art is just fine to go with the story and by itself..

Claymore, I want to read it but looking at the art gives me a headache.

Skip Beat! and Tokyo Crazy Paradise - great series, art that makes me queasy. Anything by her, actually, I really just hate the way she draws.

And if we're redrawing just part of a series, then the first 10-ish volumes of BECK, because the art just gets SOOO much better. Bleach and Naruto and everything are weak at first, but once they reach a certain point, the art stabilizes and stops evolving. Not so with BECK, it just keeps getting better and better.

-the first 2 volumes of Hellsing could REALLY do with a redrawing... (and even some sort of rewriting : I mean I always thought that the very first episode of the anime was way more impressive than the manga even if if after that it became crappy : the whole thing about the first meeting between alucard and seras , then the battle in the church is just awesome while the manga is very weak on this point ) .

• I guess that to a certain extent the 3 first volumes of Berserk could be improved but I still like it the way it is....

-I think the most obvious exemple is Ah megami sama :the gap is astonishing . Belldandy is utterly ugly (green hairs and bushy eyebrows for god sake!!!) on the beginning and the same goes for keichi who doesn't look like the shy and sweet keitaro-like character he is now but rather like a big furry otaku .

• Otherwise i just don't see :
  I read a lot of mangas but either they're not worth of being redrawn (and even being read) or they're already good .

I second claymore and hellsing.
If the art had been better, I could have brought myselft to read more of claymore.. Although I don't like it anyway..

I totally can't stand bad art too!!! But if the story is good I sometimes manage to drag myself through the chapters...
I know I've seen alot of manga with bad art but none are coming to my mind right now... or maybe I just didn't bother remembering their names... lol
Hmm, well, i really like Don't touch me's story line and I would love for it to be redrawn...
I don't really like claymore's art but I'm not crazy about the story either...
Oh I know! Perfect Girl Evolution!!! It would be great if it could be redrawn...
Can't really think of any others now but I normally choose to read a manga according to it's art, so I wouldn't start on any I think looks really bad anyway...

And probably Nodame Cantabile and Perfect Girl Evolution...the art was pretty lazy (though I can't say a lot about Nodame, I didn't read much of that), or Bara no Tameni. I liked the concept, but old art never clicked for me 🙂
