Just experienced another face-palming inducing occurence...

My Apple iPod Nano 3rd Gen's ear buds (the standard free ones) died on me this morning, the left hand side was having a horrible scratchy sound along with the music and was significantly lower in volume compared to the right side. I straight away went to check if my warranty was still valid. Sadly I found out that it was void as it only covered one year and the warranty didn't necessarily cover the ear buds as well as the iPod. I then looked for solutions online to see if there were any simple ways to fix it. Most of the solutions I found were to claim new ones from Apple through the warranty or to buy new better quality ones. The first option was not a choice and I wasn't really keen to buy new earphones when the ones I got from my iPod were free...
As you would expect I wasn't in the best mood after this and I came upon a forum with a similar question to mine and the reply was to "bang the ear buds against something" for it to work again and the person said that it worked for them. So I tried this thinking that it couldn't make the problem that much worse if I was to buy new ones anyway.

And they worked perfectly fine after hitting them with not much force against the desk. 😔

Most recently, being attacked by someone with a banana, unintentionally. If you don't know the reference, you haven't watched enough Monty Python 😉

When I got over how much of a dork I am with a total facepalm, I couldn't stop laughing.

My school has some fundraisers for Relay for Life, I think that's the one at least. The fundraiser is a purchasable hat day: You donate a dollar, and you receive a sticker giving you permission to wear your hat in school for the day.

The qualifying occurrence? Well the school has some signs around the school advertising this, and the one by the cafeteria says this at the bottom: "Where your hat all day for $1." I quickly used my pencil to solve the offending typo.

Now I don't know about you, but I have never seen anyone make that typo, and I'm quite certain everyone knows the difference between where and wear.

A couple of weeks ago, my mom and sister had come to visit because it was her birthday. So since the cheesecake factory is literally only a 5 minute walk from my apartment, we walked there. I didn't bother to take anything but some cash and a visa, since I was just going to buy my sister a giftcard.

So we're in line waiting for the cake my mom bought my sister, and I noticed the cashier carded my mom, and since I didn't bring my license with me, I decided to wait to buy the card until the next day when I did have it. Since my mom knew I was going to buy a giftcard for my sister, after she was done at the checkout, she walked up to me and said out loud, despite the fact my sister was right next to her... "Aren't you going to buy that giftcard?"

facepalm. So, not only had she taken my idea of getting my sister cheesecake to begin with, she ruined my back up plan of getting her a giftcard, as well. 😔

I made a big deal about ordering Beauty and the Beast online yesterday. Today, I dug out the old VHS version we had and stuck it in. That tape is probably from when the movie first came out in '91 and is probably the most-watched of all our old Disney VHS, since I never quite outgrew it. Basically, falling apart, bars all over the screen, my Mom sits down to watch it with me and never notices. Then, towards the end, there was an annoying buzzing sound in the background and my Mom says:
"You better exchange this DVD. This is horrible; it shouldn't be buzzing like that."

so in the 10th grade, i went on this backpacking/canoeing trip. the first part was canoeing and i was with my friend in the same canoe. canoeing with a friend is like the worst idea ever. so there was this huge boulder in the exact middle of the river. from the time we saw it, we were like were not gonna hit it were not gonna hit it and sure enough, we hit the damn rock like a motherfucker. it was the only rock in the entire damn river. sad.

what thee.... fuckkkk...

ok here's mine.

im a sore loser for this one =(

um a week ago i was on a boat and this pretty japanese girl was talking to me acting friendly and stuff but the more she talked the more i noticed how she seemed to be so new to america, she seemed very innocent and friendly.
anyway i was playing it cool and just looking out at the beautiful view of the ocean.
well than i started thinking .it wouldn't hurt to go continue this conversation. well i tried but i got extremely nervous and i was still tryna play it cool.

well i got her phone number and i called her and she called me back and than she pretended like she had no idea who i was.

hahaha i only did that face palm thing for like a second. it was more laughable i don't get down easily. i have too much upbeat feelings. which draws us back to the thread someone posted "Manga has ruined my relationships"

ch'yaaaaa.... sad 😮 🤣

I had a couple just this week:

1.) My mom saying a butchered version of "kamehameha" 🤣 no kidding. It was when she saw a preview of Dragonball live action movie. I asked her what she was doing, she was like, "you used to do that all the time when you were a kid" 😐 (yea, thanks for reminding me how obsessed I was with DB/Z back then too)

2.) I sort of burned hard boiled eggs >__< they were still edible thanks to the shell though. But about half of the egg white was brownish.

I've also burned ceramic apples my mom keeps on the counter top and water (not technically burned, but you get the idea). If there's anything that you think is impossible to burn in the kitchen, I've prolly burned it too...

I was at Comic-Con and got four from one day.
The first one was some guy basically had V from V for Vendetta down but, instead of having a mask he painted his face so it ruined the whole thing. Funny thing is my friend bought a V mask for 10 bucks the same day.

The second was some guy dressed up as Astro Boy and he had stilts and he had maybe the worst costumes of the Con.On the stilts was cloth of fire. He wore tights that was barely the color of the characters clothing. He had this fake hair that was made out of plastic and was slowly falling and he this thing covering his hand that made it look like his hand was a cannon(well I am guessing he was going for it because it kept on wobbling back an forth.

The third one was from this one both that had some up incoming Japanese pop star that I must add is pretty hot I think I have her picture..... well some guy asked her if the blue and black hair was natural.

The fourth one is that I called my friend he couldn't find us even thought we told him we are next to a giant Pikachu
