Gayest Non-Yaoi Manga EVER

Ilegenes is sort of gay... but not really anymore since the few latest chapters.
Anyway -- Some scenes made me think "clonecest!" right away. <.<;
I read that in Code Geass R2 there was probably something between Kanon and Schneizel, after Kanon made an insinuating comment. Apparently, he also got whipped by Schneizel once too. .__.

A lot of the manga that Bliss scanlates have the gay subtext, including Ilegenes

in Seto no hayanume theres a lot of subtext between masa and the protagonist.
he's probably shown more 'feelings' to masa than any of the heroines.

On the flip side, Nabari no Ou doesn't technically count, if we get down to it.
SPOILERS
...in large part because Yoite is intersexual.
But seriously, though. 12 nin no Yasashii Koroshiya. /SOB I totally just bought the second volume of that series in Japanese. It's beautiful. Also Magnolia, but with a good(ish) sort of reason. Dolls if only because of the large cast of almost exclusively male characters. And maybe Di(e)ce? OH WAIT. Also Pandora Hearts, if some of the fans had their way.
Though honestly, I ignore it. It's obvious that the author doesn't intend for the main characters to be gay/lusting for each other; it's just service for the fangirls. And anyway, I kind of like the idea that two guys can be friends and actually HUG. What the freak is wrong with America. We gender-stereotype too much.
Ilegenes has already been mentioned. I guess a lot of the stuff can slashableness, but I prefer to view it as close friendship. I mean... if they were secretly lusting after each other, it would add a kind of DO NOT WANT element to the series. I dunno.

That might be true... if that were the only instance of homosexual implications within the manga, while, quite frankly, it's but one among many.

So hey, no one's mentioned HunterxHunter yet? Kurapica and Leorio are slashy fun, Hisoka pops canon boners over dudes, and pretty much the only reason Gon and Killua aren't officially canon is because they're twelve and this is supposed to be a shounen manga.
I mean I've read a lot, and I mean a lot of the stuff that's been mentioned in this thread, and I was still utterly gobsmacked by how unexpectedly completely gay this manga is.
And have I mentioned the author really wanted to write about gay soccer players at one point before being shot down by his editor. Yeah.
And while I'm here anyways I might as well mention Berserk. In the words of Griffith re: Gutts, "Among thousands of comrades and ten thousands of enemies, only you, only you, only you... made me forget my dream."
It's pretty gay, man.

EXACTLY MY POINT! I had no intention of posting here at all, but did so simply to agree with this part of Alaena Night's comment. Why can't there be a nice, close, platonic relationship between two guys without all these unfounded accusations of gay-ness?
I adore the friendships between Ban & Ginji (Get Backers) , Leon & Count D (Petshop of Horrors) , Killua & Gon (Hunter x Hunter) , Kazuki & Haruki (Diece) , Kimihiro & Shizuka (xxxHolic) and Fon & Jake (Ilegenes). Why must people see romance where it doesn't exist?
Another pet peeve of mine is how the definition of gay has changed from "being attracted to men" to "not being attracted to women" - so much so that any guy who doesn't display an active interest in finding a female partner is immediately perceived as being homosexual! 😔
Now, don't get me wrong; I have no objection to BL- so long as it stays in yaoi / shounen-ai manga. But when people start fan-girling about a particular 'couple' in a manga that does not target BL fans, it almost always has a detrimental effect on the popularity of the series (because fujoshi make up only a tiny fraction of the manga fandom). I really can't tolerate how some of the series I love end up being sneered at by people on the false grounds that they are "so gay"! >:-(

Before you get mad at what I'm about to write, bare in mind that it's all innocent fun and that I don't really want to see men smut men unless they desire so.
Well, technically, platonic relationships are just sexless.
So according to it, there can be love without sex, but there's still love.
Sure, you can see it as "friendship". A fujoshi will see it as a "relationship". : D
But I think the friendship aspect is a modern concept.
People like romance.
And authors often play on this, so their characters keep throwing hints at us,
even if there isn't meant to be anything.
But that's the whole problem. The subtext is just thrown there.
I'm not saying two men can't be just friends. But having them lust after each other, or seem like they do will sell to more people.
It does. Or else there wouldn't be any hints. Or we're all completely crazy. :3

Yeah, I agree, it's not really fair.
But it's fiction. We can never know exactly what the author had in mind.
And another thing - it's fiction. Can't we play with the characters? =)
But don't you think that's something that people should think about?
What's wrong with something or someone being "gay"? Why is it a derogatory term?
If they can't enjoy a story with some "hints (real or not)", it's their problem.
And if they can't see beyond what some fans say, then honestly? They're complete idiots.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

If I had a fantasy self, it'd be a tentacle monster.
The One - This isn't your normal brotherhood.
Grappler Baki series - How can you not be gay there if women are so ugly? + they like to be naked
Devilman - Great manga, but the last scene...
Beliefs are what divide people. Doubt unites them.

I am so glad there is someone out there that feels the same way. I understand that some series leave themselves open for interpretation, but I hate the idea that a strong friendship cannot exist between two guys. I find the friendship between Miharu and Yoite in Nabari no Ou to be one of the most beautiful, well-developed and subtly deep (platonic) connections I have ever read in any manga. It's absolutely wonderful. I am saddened by the unfounded accusations about many series. Fon and Jake (Ilegenes) also have the kind of friendships that you don't often see in any manga. Natsume and Hatori from Natsume Yuujinchou, Tooru and Kotarou from 12 Nin no Yasashii Koroshiya, and (dare i say it?) Aoki and Maki from Himitsu (in the anime for sure) have amazing dynamics and interesting relationships that somehow lose a dimension if they're really only wanting to get into each other's pants. I withhold my judgment on Himitsu because very little of the manga is scanlated, but still. (I'd actually love that series no matter how it turned out.) If I have to read "subtextual" series to find these kind of friendships, I guess I'll just have to keep reading them. I can understand that there are fans who love the characters (and want them to love each other...) but it's sad that some think that these characters are "gay" without a doubt.
I think some people forget that two people can love each other in ways that aren't necessarily romantic. I love my best friend to death. I'd jump in front of a car for her. My sisters and brothers are the same way, and some of my colleagues. Love has a thousand shades to it.
I'M SO SORRY, WAXING PHILOSOPHICAL/STUPID. I don't mean to say that some series don't leave themselves open for certain interpretations, but this is how I feel about things. I sincerely hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, but this is what I believe to be true.

Revolutionary Girl Utena, at least in the anime. Certainly there are overtly gay relationships (straight men do not roll around on a mattress together with their pants undone), but also lots of subtext going on, most notably for me TougaxSaionji.
I have to second the deliciously slashable Katekyou Hitman Reborn!. I'm an 8059, D18, 8018, and S80 fangirl.
