Hmmmm... Once I got my GF to dress as Ryoumou Shimei from Ikkitousen for Halloeween.

That was a lot of fun.

But you know, I know a lot of people who are very attractive despite acne, and it has to do with confidence and charisma. So you still have a chance, guys!

define charisma.

As far as hairiness, I really don't care much one way or another, the personality, sense of humor, etc. are SO SO much more important. (For a guy to be completely hairless, though, would be rather odd.)

I find it rather UNattractive for guys (or girls) to spend too much time on their appearance. Yeah, definitely be clean, well groomed, etc. but spending too much time/effort/money on appearance seems like that's all there is to them; also seems like that's how they'll judge others, just by appearance.

Here's another one - I think it's kind of cool for guys to wear nail polish, but NOT for them to have long nails AT ALL.

LOL. actually, speaking of hair, i want to cut my hair in a boycut... should i? it'll be easier to take care of..

OH RIGHT. back on topic. guy otakus... ummm... take care of your skin. acne is unappealing. 😀

Oh please don't cut your hair, if anything grow it out.
I hate boycuts on girls because well, they make them look like boys.
Plus i like long-hair girls like the length of amaranthine's hair in the pics.

Also on the hair part, i am asian and i have quite a bit of hair, probably the same as an average guy.

the thing about the cosplay, I wouldn't mind but i wouldn't really ask them to do so.
It might annoy them and sometimes a girl looks better normally then in cosplay. Sometimes the cosplay makes them look worse.

Like Atakstuki~ish manicure/pedicure or just clear ones?

I don't care for hair as much, since guys my age aren't grossly hairy anyway, not like the 50 year olds who has hairy backs... 🤢

@Deception: thanks! I used to have a boy's cut though

Ha-! I had to google Akatsuki because I had no idea what you were talking about. 🤣

Colors are fine, esp. darker colors. Pastels would be a bit weird, I think, but I've never seen a guy with pastel nail polish (except in drag, and that doesn't really count, since they're trying to look female).

I agree. Thanks for stating this. 😀 But, I like a guy with a little bit of gel...it smells sooo yummy~ Guys gotta smell good. 😃

And I stated this before: my boyfriend's not up for cosplaying, but he wants me to cosplay for him...as Mitsuru from Persona 3, preferably...though I'm thinking about getting one of Chii's sexy outfits~ 😁

I think that would look good on you, be sure to post your pics on the cosplay thread 😀

I don't really mind what they do with their nails, as long as it's clean... 😃

I think there was a discussion about piercings before? I think that's hot and tattoos too (but not too much). I don't see many otaku guys who has piercing/tats though...

Piercings...I have mixed feelings...ears are fine, navels on some guys, anything else I'm not so fond of. Tattoos, again it depends, I've seen some that I like a lot and others not at all. Both are definitely better in moderation (though I feel a bit weird saying that, since my ears are pierced nine times (left) and seven times (right), but that's just ears, after all... 😀 ).

Like just about everything else, though, piercings & tattoos are definitely secondary to the more important stuff - personality etc. 😃
