I think that would look good on you, be sure to post your pics on the cosplay thread 😀

I don't really mind what they do with their nails, as long as it's clean... 😃

I think there was a discussion about piercings before? I think that's hot and tattoos too (but not too much). I don't see many otaku guys who has piercing/tats though...

A good quality costume of it though is like $500! And I can't sew. >:-( Wanna make it for me?? 🤣

Ehhh...I'm not so keen on piercings myself (I only have my ears pierced) but I don't think I'd like my boyfriend to have any...

Like just about everything else, though, piercings & tattoos are definitely secondary to the more important stuff - personality etc. 😃

Of course, they're just nice little extras.

If you live close by, I definitely would! I don't know how to sew either, but I want to try making a costume 😀

Cheebs- I don't think much sewing will be required for that costume! You only need to find the skirt, a white blouse, black boots and a scarf.
Give me a few hours and I can find all those pieces on the internet and send you the links. You prolly wont spend more than $200 - I think the boots will cost the most ~ $120

Also - I am an Otaku and I have many tattoos. (I started the anime tattoo thread btw 😛 ) I am currently planning a yuko (xxxholic) tattoo and a Gunslinger Girl tattoo.

I'll post pics when I get them in a few weeks. 😀 😀 😀 😀

I had 2 guy friends who had belly button piercings They were both gay though. I have never seen a hetero guy with a belly button piercing.

My middle brother has, or had can't remember if he took it out, one. I don't remember why he got one just that he did (might have been under the influence of something). Actually scratch that last part, I think he had some girl talk him into getting one.

Well my middle brother's straight, plus he's married.

My ex had them, nipples, tongue and ears too. It's pretty sexy, for some reason.

I can't see nipple piercings without just thinking OUCH!!! Even moreso after nursing my babies and getting bitten hard enough to draw blood once. 🤢

Similar thing with tongues, I've bitten my tongue pretty badly a couple times and pierced tongues just look too painful.

Ears I've had done myself & I know it doesn't hurt much, so that doesn't bother me. 😀

I personally don't like piercings because they seem rather unnatural (though I admit normal ear piercings are rather nice, and it's fun to wear pretty earrings).

Hm.. I used to want an otaku boyfriend, actually. But the truth is, I'm really awkward around guys, and I'm more interested in shoujo than shounen... and I don't like anime as much as I do manga, not to mention that I'm also half-obsessed with fanfiction...

I guess it would be nice to have someone you could talk to about those kinds of things, and it would be really fun to go sit together at bookstores, or watch anime together, or discuss mangas. But truthfully, I have pretty pathetic social skills, and I go to a school where the grade is the same three hundred people for six years. I'd say I have fifteen or so friends that I'm really comfortable with, out of these, and none of them are otakus like I am, though they mostly all know manga/anime/fanfic. So if I don't really have a male otaku boyfriend (or even have a boyfriend in general sob), is because when I'm not busy with schoolwork/my obsessions, I don't really know anyone outside of my classes or main group of friends. Not to mention that I feel more comfortable around girls than guys.. ><;; I'm really sheltered... TT__TT

🤣 I bet most otaku couples like it in cosplay...

Geez, this seems like 18+ material

You know what? I think you're right... I'm tired to tell you peeps to keep this "clean". So it's much easier for me to just move it in the 18+ section... (It's not like those under 18 don't venture there anyway)

It's more like PG-13, but whatever.

I guess you have a lot of 12 year olds coming here?

Okay~ But it's not really a scarf...more like a humongous ribbon bow tie. @.@ See?

Maybe I should go take a peek in there, cuz now I'm curious...

But belly button rings...on guys?? 😔
