Also, seriously schoolgirl outfits are pretty easy I think. Depending what you want you want I'd look at real uniform companies they aren't really expensive. I bought girl's uniform skirt during the winter for like $6 or $8.

You're kidding right? My elementary school uniform was about $45 just for the skirt. D:

Where'd you get the cheap stuff?

Oh snap @_@ I got mine from aafes.

Quote from Dr Taverner

In the US the word Ni@@er was a VERY harsh term for African Americans but it has been changed by the people themselves. They have made it their own word (even changing the spelling by replacing the er with an a).
Tav

The 'N' word is still a very harsh term for African Americans*. If you don't believe me try calling a black person it. If you were to ever to use that word in front of me or forbid use it to call me I'd walk away from you or rant about how you shouldn't use it. (I'd probably want to slap you too.) Also, are you completely sure that the 'er' was used before the 'a' I've been reading slave narratives and it is used with an 'a'. It is a racial slur and in my opinion is only used by ignorant fools which I don't have the slightest bit of time for.
*Also, you do know that if you say African American you're talking about everyone that came from Africa to America right. Not everyone in Africa is black. It's mostly just a politically correct term and usually don't hear black people refer to themselves as that.

THRE IS NO SUCH THING AS NORMAL OTAKU, GET THIS INTO YOUR HEAD. the definition of a n otaku is: an obseesed freak over a single thing, that cant think of anything else, and is so into it that he will abandon all other things, such as shower, for example to just sit at home and be obsessed. that is what otaku it. dictionary definition. u still wanna be an otaku?

i have to agree.

whoever used the niggr example, some black people call themselves that, definitely not the majority, and they don't generally refer to themselves like that.
ie. imagine this topic title with every otaku word replaced with nigg
r. It doesn't work.
Otaku has it's strict meaning in japan. They created the word and it's meaning hasn't changed. we've only manipulated it for our purposes
lets call ourselves ani-fans or something. whatever takes your fancy.

Not trying to start an argument or anything k!!!!

now on to the content of the topic

i'm not too hairy (my legs are a little, but no back, very few chest)
i have acne, but not bad - and yeah i can't get rid of it. I've tried those face wash crap etc, it never makes a difference. these days i just feel like taking it natural.

what else was talked about before...

cosplay yes... i don't cosplay, i wouldn't mind a girlfriend who does cosplay 😛

as for what i'd like in a relationship. i would mind the cuddley side of it. I wouldn' t mind living like some shoujo mangas a little. ie. aishiteruze baby. I adore the idea of taking after a little kid with a girlfriend and being all shoujo like LOL.

Having a boyfriend means endless sweet messages, conversations and moments but based from my personal experience, almost all we talk about is anime DVD/VCD/CD, manga, cosplay, otaku/anime magazines, anime/manga-related sites, anime/manga download sites and anime goodies stores...

You don't have school to talk about? Or anything else?? Not even philosophical fun stuff? What about video games? 😲 That relationship was DOOMED.

Personally, I think that uniforms should be worn in America too >_> To show which school we're from and, it's better than seeing all the ... Indecency around here.

That would NEVER fly considering (I'm assuming your from) America is all about individualism and NOT collectivism. Wearing a uniform contributes to collectivism.

So...while we're (not) on the topic...Blacks can take that word back, and I'm gonna take porch monkey back. 🤣 (FYI: This is a quote from a movie called Clerks 2)

@OSW: Sounds to me like you should just go after someone who's divorced with one kid already. 😛

Quote from blackraven66

well...what Altairea said does hold some value. dating means doing something special between the couple. if you're just gonna talk about manga/anime. you're just better off being friends since there wouldn't be a difference

It can't be "special moments" ALL the time, because if it is, then you'll get bored of the same thing over and over again and eventually break up. Along with being lovey-dovey, you need to be (best) friend like as well.

are you saying that you have an otaku boyfriend but you don't like him anymore? o.O

The proper term is "It didn't work out". I really did like him as a boyfriend but the last straw was when he forgot my birthday because he was too absorbed on making props for his cosplay of Byakuya for the upcoming Toy Con...

Non-anime/manga topic is limited to a one-question-one-answer conversation. If he feels like it, that conversation can last 20 minutes max.
... and yes, that relationship was doomed.

I don't see where the problem comes in.

I don't even remember my own mother's birthday. :S

Maybe, but you're mom doesn't go wage a war on you because you forgot her birthday, does she?

We can share the all the same interest possible but NOT anime and/or manga.

🤣 I love this! Totally different from most people's impression of having an otaku partner. Then again, it seems like you two weren't really dating, just being friends with someone who share the same interest.

I really want to say that who expects guys to remember important dates (ie, birthdays, anniversaries)? ...But that would be stereotyping. Or would it?

My mom has to remind my dad every year about their anniversary, birthdays, his parents' birthdays, the birthdays of their children (me and my brother), and other important dates.

So... If it were me, I wouldn't be that upset. In fact, if he did remember, then that'd be a nice surprise 😀

yeah. but the same goes that it shouldn't all be "(best) friend like as well". it should have maybe a 60-40 or 50-50 division(couple-friend respectively). but from what Altairea's saying, its more of a 20-80
🤣

I agree. I don't even remember all the dates myself.

Bah, who cares about all THOSE dates...the date of your partner is the most important one. I'd be devastated if my boyfriend forgot my birthday! I'm always worrying that I can't exactly remember his...

.. there are like 4 topics at once.

[1] African American reminds me of my friend, who is African, and we had the nigger discussion before (ex. how other people will call her that), but she said she doesn't care what they say. She should just concentrate on being herself. Those who call others nigger are wasting their time anyway.

[2] uniforms my school forbids girls to wear skirts, because girls stand at the top of the stairs, and guys look up*, and see everything. Girls, of course, do not mind.

[3] cosplay? not interested

[4] dates Simple, I write them down in calendar. But those "one/two month anniversary" stuff is so BS. Anniversary is one full year.

 1. At my school, girls wear anything they want. Everyday, I'm forced to see other girls' boobs, ass cracks, underwear, etc. Personally, I don't want to see any of that. And then the guys... Seriously, I don't care nor want to know what kind of boxers you're wearing today, so don't show them to me. How do guys run in those pants anyways... My friend walks like a penguin because of them, and I make fun of him for it.

 2. I'm too absentminded to care... I just make sure I know how old I am, and sometimes, right after a birthday, I can forget that too.... >_>;;
