I have been hearing about the mythical Chuck Norris in internet for almost 2 years, but I would like to know if anybody knew where and when all this started.

Chuck Norris was old news, he hasn't done anything in this decade and suddenly, people started talking about him again.

When, where and why did all this started?

I'm guessing...... 4chan?

Conan did a lot of Chuck Norris jokes, and it's kind of a random, out of date topic. He even had clips from Walker Texas Ranger. It's definitely the kind of thing cult popularity is born from.

Honestly, I thought the WoW forums had started it all because I remember joking about Vin Disel being the Shaman representative before Conan had his whole Chuck phase. The paladins had elected Chuck Norris as there representative as a joke and it was huge on the forums for the longest time. I could be wrong but I remember that whole debate before the Conan thing. Also my favorite joke is Chuck Norris can speak braille. Although in my sig is a close second.
