Could you please give me recs for male lead who only likes female lead, I really like shoujo/josei/or romance genre. But I am soooo sick and tired of reading manga where the male lead has obsessive classmate-girlfriend/obsessive childhood girlfriend, obssessive-wish-she-was-his-girlfriend, etc. Thank you!!

Every single story were the romance just happens, and isn't the central plot point of the story? Also, stop reading series in the (reverse) harem genre if you don't want waifu/husbando bait?

I'm looking more for romance-centered stories tho, just really tired of evil second female lead plot line, please rec actual titles thanks!

I hate this trope too, it gets really annoying when a random rival appears halfway into the story. There's other ways to make the plot interesting, this formula is overused.

Just a note re: the suggestions above. I like Suki tte Ii na yo., but it doesn’t fit the request - there are at least three love rivals that I can think of for the male lead, and one drags on forever.
