Race is irrelevant. I believe someone mentioned somewhere in this thread that there will no longer be races in a few more generations anyways. Defining races is a great way to separate yourself from your fellow human being.

I also feel that Nationalism and Culturalism tend to separate humanity. It is important to understand your culture in order to study it from a historical view, but no one should ever feel that one culture is better than another. Once everyone gets over race, religion, nationality, etc, we will have world peace (for about 10 min)

Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.

Most of those stereotypes that people talk about are based on culture, which means that for many, many individuals, they are true. Like, when my neighbor visited Ireland, he said that they really did drink a lot of beer.

Asians smart? Maybe in some areas the US, because it's only the smart ones that make it into the nice rural areas outside of Chinatown. I can attest to a few examples that dispute that one.

But as the world is getting more global, you race gives you a small part of your identity. The important thing, in my opinion, is to just be open-minded to the traditions of others.

Ho ho. See right here proves the stereotype incorrect because Asian women supposedly drive really slow. But I guess as a New Yorker, if your not driving as fast as the road allows, you're going too slow. ^^;;

Where I'm from, if you're not going at least 10 miles over the speed limit you're going too slow, as my Korean friend is constantly reminding me. I'm usually the one you'll find going the speed limit (which is slow), and I'm 1/4 Korean.

I go 10 miles below the speeding limit, and I still turn so awkwardly.. I drive like the senior citizens.
