Not too surprising, to me - there are a lot of people who question the faith they grew up in, or religion in general, and probably aren't ready to committ to a strict "yes" or "no".

I voted "no" simply because I haven't seen anything, in almost 36 years on this planet, that convinces me that there is a god/gods/higher power - however - I'm not going around declaring that there absolutely isn't one. I suppose there could be, I just haven't seen convincing evidence of it, and so far every religion I've learned about has one (or more, often many more) things I disagree with.

Meh when missionaryies try to shove something down your throat you wanna rebel I guess. That's why I hate mormons and witnesses.

Well could you empathise with them. Well I can't speak for mormons but I can speak for Christians when they say that Jesus was God's way of dealing with sin, and that Jesus give us a chance to have eternal life instead of hell. They really believe that God loves everyone and is giving everyone a chance to claim the gift of Christ. To many witnesses Jesus is a life or death desicion.

EDIT: I didn't really give my two cents, so here I go...

I just find some theories that people have are way too ludacris... I support the idea of giving people something to believe in when all hope is lost, but not to the point where something that doesn't even exist controls your life and actions. I mean, it just seems like science can already explain it all anyway...

The existence of God (the way religions would describe this term) just isn't a scientific concept, and that's why I can't say I agree with any one of them.

While different religions give their unique unambigous concepts of God, science doesn't state anything categorically, leaving lots of space for speculation. And that gives much more freedom in trying to define what is this God thing, what are the origins of faith, and whether we believe it or not.

"No" for the religious concept, "Yes" for defining it in a different, scientific way.

So I chose "Maybe".
