AlZip, Winrar/zip, Izarc, and more ect. are all zip/rar archiver programs. I see that winrar and winzip are the most common programs for people to use. In MY opinion (and this program is not free ) is Power Archiver 2007. As the title said, the program is made in 2007 and in this spring. It can encode, turn files in .exe, encrypt files, extract, turn into zip/7zip (no rar...), a slim and pretty looking blue template.
I rate this program's template more prettier than Alzip.. XD Alzip has such a nice skin with a lot of features, but this one is better for me
So in your opinion, or what program do you use to extract zip/rar files?

I use winrar and winzip for everday use but I also like to use a program called "Stuff It", which was originally for mac but there's also a windows version. It's extremely good IMHO.

Winrar is pretty easy to use, efficient and one of the most common formats the Internet has ever developed... So why bother with anything else?
Well I just like winrar, and I don't really need any kind of weird special features. I just need to compress/decompress... (sometimes add a password) and I can do all that with winrar (even with the free version). So my choice is simple.

I full-heartedly agree. I'm as cheap as most of these people, and so I put up with the trial version's 4 -second-wait-screens, because Power Archiver handles every kind of file compression that exists (as far as I know). It is simply the best.

used to use winzip, then .rar extensions came out and it couldn't open em. So i tried winrar and then i had both. Winrar became my default since it could open .zip and.rar (i dunno about now though, this was like...6 yrs back)

I've used winzip, power archiver, etc... but i always use winrar these days... just used to it I guess. imo, a good zip/rar program isn't hard to come by these days.. i mean it's harder for one program to do it "better" than another... so i guess you just use what gets the job done for you.

IZArc for me. I like how easy it is to bulk unpack files of all types. And freeware!

I've been using Izarc for 9 months.I must say it is the simplest i've used so far, the template might not be good but i like it It doesn't always open in the program, some zip file just open by itself, and that way i won't have to look at it everyday xDD and cool is that after you're done extracting, they pop up the window where you just extracted.

I use WinRar a lot since it's faster than my evaluation version of WinZip. Although if I were viewing manga I don't use this at all and use CDisplay. An amazing way to view all your manga archives without extracting lol ><

I use Winrar. Why bother with something more complicated, I say keep it simple =]
