shonen or shoujo art?

Shounen.
As I just think the flow is better and the drawings are crisper and cleaner. Plus the way characters are drawn is immediately more eye catching for me.
Shoujo art is just off-putting to me. Though I suppose there are exceptions. I'm enjoying the manga Superior and it has a very shoujo like art style despite being shounen.

Hm... that's a hard one. I like both. Shoujo art, to me, is prettier, but shounen has always had more of a human quality than shoujo.
There are both shounen and shoujo with good art, but the best art is found in seinen, in my opinion.

In my opinion shonen has a much wider range of styles. Also, I think shonen has much more expressive characters in terms of detailed facial expressions, though I think seinen dominates that area. In shoujo art, they tend to use blank backgrounds filled in with sparkles or flowers, where as it seems to me shounen art has more interesting backgrounds. Obviously, this is just my opinion/experience; admittedly, I have read more shonen series than shoujo.
I agree with tsuto though, seinen has the best art.

i like shounen art cause it usually leaves room for more diversified characters and all the girls don't have freekishly huge eyes 😃

Both.
I really like the shonen art that lays off on making the guy "oh so gorgeous" and keeps it realistic. It's nice to see facial expressions that are actually possible to make. Although some shonen gives the girls HUGE breasts, which makes it kind of tiring >.> Not that all shonen is like that. Actually, if I think about it, there's shoujo mangas who do that too...
Shoujo. Hmm. I just like it for the exact opposite reasons I like shonen (I know it's contradicting but oh well) I guess it really comes down to the artist. There are some very distinctive shoujo art that I really like (Ai Yasawa -although I guess she's considered josei,Yuki Kaori, CLAMP).
In general, I always tend to find the shoujo art more "pretty" and shonen more "cool" for the lack of a better word. And I enjoy them both because they are different.
Although I agree too that seinen has the best art.

Shounen art for me since the characters look more cooler and cute and the hairstyles and faces have a wide variety compared to Shoujo.
Typical Shoujo art makes me want to give up the series no matter how good it is. Seems they try to make it too realistic to me even though I dont know how you would call people that are tall and very slim/slender with plate like eyes real.

I prefer shounen. Especially the art of Oh! great.
Although I do read some shoujo. I find myself frequently struggling with the art. I mean, Shoujo characters, especially the male ones, are long and slim like a stick.
Don't only look straight, look also to the sides, usually the essential isn't in front of you, but beside you.

Oh Great is awesome. I prefer his seinen work to his shounen work, though.

In general, there are more Shonen artist than Shojo artist that practice realism, and that is the style I prefer. Not that EVERY Shonen manga is realistic, but there are more than there are Shojo.
I second the hate for giant plate eyes. It's annoying.

Shounen by far. There are things in shoujo art that just bug me.

Shonen for the action poses, but shoujo for the intricate fine details.
There are plenty of great and/or crappy ones on both sides, but these parts about them makes them more or less equal in terms of art.

I vote shounen, as well. I find it to be not only a lot more appealing to the eye, but also better organized and easier to follow, if that makes sense?
