Romance Slice of Life

I'm looking for a romance slice of life with a similar feel to Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii. I've browsed through the tags and what not but it's hard to search when what you like about a manga is the overall affect or feeling it give you, you know? The art drew me in first, and the characters feel real to me and I like that its not too slow despite being slice of life (I mean there are only five chapters scanned so I don't have a lot of base that on). I like how .. awkwardly smitten with each other the two main characters are - I think maybe that's my thing? They clearly like each other and aren't afraid of it but are also awkward about it. And the relationship feels balanced so far, which is a nice change from so many mangas where it isn't in some way (either the characters aren't on the same page feelings wise, or one character is constantly assaulting the other in some fashion... or I've been reading too many mangas with vaguely rapey male leads or tsundere female leads idk)
No restrictions on genre and I'm open to BL or GL recs 😀

Thanks! That's actually on my list, I'm waiting for scans to get further along before I start it but I read the first couple chapters and liked what I saw. It's definitely in the ballpark of what I'm looking for.

Hmm, have you read Otoko no Isshou and other manga from Nishi Keiko?
Gozen 3-ji no Muhouchitai is pretty good too.
For BL, I recommend Hidaka Shoko's work, especially Arashi no Ato and Hana wa Saku ka

Bonnouji, Can't See Can't Hear But Love, Gokinjo Monogatari, Himawari Youchien Monogatari Aiko Desho!, Hoshi no Furu Machi, Kami-sama ga Uso o Tsuku., Sakamichi no Apollon, Toshiue no Hito, Usagi Drop and Octave.
Good luck finding something to read 🙂

I very much second Hana wa Saku ka and Sakamichi no Apollon. Octave, though... Imo the atmosphere between the couple is more "uncomfortable" than "awkward."
As for recs:
Otomen -- Not 100% certain, since I last read this years back.
Oka no Ue no Rakuen
Zantei, Koibito, sort of, in a weird way.
Blue Sky Complex -- Only in the first volume.
Girl Friends -- At least at the beginning; it became rather mushy towards the end.
