Hell's angels and Zombie Loan.

Hell's angels has worse artwork than humanly tolerable and Zombie Loan is good, if the art wasn't soooo sloppy. It looks like the mangaka wasn't even bothering.

I guess Doll: IC in a doll could come off as ugly, but the gothic lolita style in it is pretty awesome.

I forgot about that manga since I dropped it right away. It wasn't even humanly tolerable for me since the art was so darn ugly. It was completely disgusting. Oh, I agree with Zombie Loan - wasn't bad, but could have been better.

I totally agree that it has a nice, if not brilliant story. I wouldn't call the art "ugly" or "bad" at all though, it's quite frankly better than the previously mentioned Berserk, or other popular Seinen manga like 20th Century Boys. Actually, Taiyo Matsumoto is one of the most talented artists I know.

I haven't read most of the manga that has been listed on this thread, but of the manga that I have read, the art in bremen and the art in Nodame Cantabile stand out as not so good.

yah i actually like the art, but when i started it I was like, "Wow, looks like a 4 year old drew this ( a talented 4 year old mind you, but still)". But its very endearing and works well with the story. Again i wouldn't call it bad, just different. But personally i love Urusawa's work, so I think 20thcb has great art. Pluto's great too. but yah Hanaotoko was awesome. Also, Angel Densetsu and Detroit Metal City have some interesting art, again both are funny manga so read em 😀

If you say Berserk has bad art you either haven't touched the manga or don't know what "bad artwork" means.
Because I might say the art might not please everyone, but it's drawn amazingly detailed. I'd go as far as to say ridiculously detailed. But bad? Nu-uh, noooo wayyyy
And the art didn't seem "aged" to me. It's one of those cases when it seems more like "timeless" artwork 😛
