Why does KANO Yasuhiro keep getting canceled?
Is it something wrong with me that I enjoyed all his works and I'm the minority? It's ecchi romantic comedy for christ sake, how can that not sell? I mean that genre is awash with dross that keeps going for volume after volume but this guy just can't seem to catch a break.

do you mean kagami no kuni no harisugawa will also be canceled? Many people enjoy his works but his manga aren't too popular with the japanese, I'm wondering about that myself. It was such a shame that Mx0 got axed. well atleast pretty face did not
Edit:
shoot, I thought the ending of pretty face was pretty decent.. turned out it was axed as well.

how do you know it was cancelled?
I just read an article that says that your contract with Shueisha is terminated when you're cancelled 3 times from Jump!, so when you have an actual link providing you with the information that this really got cancelled, please share...
would be a real pity if this author gets washed away... And no you're not the only one, there are big fangroups for Pretty Face and Mx0 (afaik the one for mx0 is bigger though).
But well, not because something's good doesn't mean it's appreciated (look at other authors like KOMI Naoshi with Double Arts, same problem, everyone makes a huge fuss over it, but not the right people at the right time... )
@whatnot: It did. (check for the rushed ending/axed tag)
I've no idea where the news has come from but people are saying it is in the comments for Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa. If it's not true I'm very happy.

sorry but I can't read that from what they say at all... references to his two axed works, but there isn't anyone who really said it got cancelled, and I didn't find it on the web either...
well I guess I don't have to be sorry and you can be happy 😀
and this time he got to make an actual ending... I guess he intended from the beginning to make something short this time, it's easier to react on the readers, and it doens't bear such high risks.

Warning: I have no evidence of this statement. I heard Kano actually intended this series to be short and ended it himself, ie. the series was not in fact axed.

because he is not able to keep the tension up.
he should try to make more manga like his oneshot L∞P, maybe than he could end a series normally

If he ended it himself then I guess it shows he really can't properly end a story. Nothing resolved just like Mx0. Guess Mx0's bad ending had nothing to do with it getting axed. At least I think the ending was meh, it's been so long.

ehm but you actually do know, that there is an actual epilogue chapter coming this week, don't you?
and yes it has something to do with it getting axed, he isn't some god who can compress 100+ chapters into 30 pages, so he just did the best he could do in this situation...
and it starts to piss me off that everyone says mx0 has a bad ending. Actually, it doesn't have a real ending, it's neither good nor bad, it just stopped... It even left the possibility to resume, so stop being pissed because of the author and start being pissed because of the publisher or readers...

How about just wishing the guy good luck on his next manga instead of complaining about his skill at ending a story?

Good god, he had a winning formula in Loop why didn't editors approve of that brilliant manga. It had so much potential for different stories and a recurring one. This just grates me so bad. 😢 Its been 2 years and I've yet to read a manga like it. 😔

Its funny, because, from what i've heard, this one was actually meant to be short. For Kano, I think it was probably a better choice to end it here. He didn't drag it on for too long so it was interesting throughout. I just really wish they hadn't axed Mx0 cuz it was sooo good and it was getting better.

Mx0 never should've been axed as far as I'm concerned, but Harusigawa is justified in its lack of a real plot. As said above, they should've done Loop, that was great.

Would anyone be so good and close this thread already? The false information has been cleared, hasn't it? Harisugawa wasn't axed.
The only thing left would be complaining that mx0 and pretty face have been cancelled, and I think that was/is already done in their corresponding forums.
