I'm really into older brother-younger sibling relationships at the moment, and I haven't been able to find any good manga pertaining to that theme. In hopes that someone will be able to help me out, here are my requests:

• An older brother and younger sister/younger brother, where the older brother is overprotective of his younger sibling
• The younger sibling resents this overprotectiveness
• The two of them don't have to be blood-related as long as they have a brother-sister relationship; age gap doesn't matter either
• Any genre is fine, but I don't want anything explicit. Nothing mature, and if there's smut or ecchi it has to be very, very mild
  -I'd rather the manga focused more or less only on this brother and sister, or brother and brother, rather than on a group of friends or siblings or on a whole family

Preferably, the manga should actually be mainly centered around this brother-sister or brother-brother relationship, but if that's not possible, it's all right as long as it's a fairly prominent side theme.

I hope I wasn't a little too specific, lol. But anyway, I'd really appreciate whatever you can suggest.

That's all I can think of now. I forgot the name of this one but there's also one where a girl's childish dad marries a woman and they leave the her to live with her step-brother. He's sort of over-protective but more than that he fawns over her (not in the pervy way, he's a very silly character). She's a self-sufficient character and is pretty much unresponsive/cold to her "oniichan" Cue the funny!

I've already read a few of the ones mentioned, but since I've stopped updating my reading lists lately that's probably my own fault. 😛 But otherwise, the recommendations seem really good. Family Complex was delightful - thanks for that one - and Sugar Family, Oniichan to Issho and Bara no Tameni look great too. Better go read some manga now!

Did anyone mention Crossroad? Also Ito's big brothers show up a lot in W-juliet. If you're only reading for them, though, I doubt you could handle the whole series--it'd be a little like reading Ranma 1/2 for only, say, the black rose girl or Hattosai. Not that many volumes, though, I'm glad to say. 😀
