According to my memories, back when I was 11, this series was the bomb! Packed with the awesomeness of beautiful arts, love, pretty characters, and a plot that I've never read in my 11 years of life.

But after spending another 8 years observing even more awesome and there'snowordtodescribetheirawesomeness mangas, I came back to it and: BIZARRE!

Excuse me, I was very young back then.

I actually liked this series more than I thought I would. The characters developed smoothly and her powers were pretty cool. However, I thought the ending was a little bit rushed and incomplete, but now that I know that there is a sequel (called "Ten no Shinwa Chi no Eien"), I actually like this more than before.

it was ok by me that it wasn't her power it's kinda awesome when some takes another persons power and uses it way better after having it for such a short time.

I would have wanted the manga to be longer because it felt that alot of things were left unsettled.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
All those times I was reading the manga, I was hoping that a time will come where the heroine of the story would no longer be the shadow of the 99th priestess. All along I thought that the author of the manga will create a wonderful ending where the heroine will show her true capabilities, that she is not a hero because of the heart donated to her but because she had her own power. That she was a goddess herself. The ending was not what I expected it to be. It was buiding climax after climax and then all of a sudden it fell flat, really, really flat. It's like watching an intense battle between goku of dragon ball z and freeza just for it to end in an ending where goku accidentally kills freeza with a punch without having to use his powerful power or anything. In the end, she was still a shadow and everyone surrounding her believes her to be capable because of the heart donated to her. It also gets on my nerves that on events where her power are much needed she does nothing, for example, the hospital scene where the doctor was killing people. She opted to run instead of using her power. The ending was also similar. What a disappointing ending for a story which could have had a grand ending.
