Really good story. Yaoi, yuri or hentai

OK here's the deal, it's getting pretty hard to find new good series. I generally don't read Yaoi, yuri or hentai, not because I'm against it but because I don't want to sort through all the crap to find the good ones. So I've got two massive genres that I havent touched yet.
So can anyone recommended what they think is a really good hentai or yaoi series? I'm looking for anything with a good story. I'd prefer not too hard core and not harem. Remember I'm looking for a good story, smut is secondary.
Oh and incidently I'm a girl if that helps.
What I like already: Yuu Watase, Clamp, FMA, 07-ghost, death note, Kagerou nostalgia etc ect. Didn't mind loveless.
Extra points for guy with angsty past. 😛

Rules And other series by MIYAMOTO Kano Pretty much all her series have guys with angst. And deal seriously with serious matters. Unlike most yaoi.

Slut Girl is the one I recommend, please check it out it's really good.
The story is pretty good and it's really funny, and I mean really funny.
It's a great read, and certainly if it's your first hentai.
Not to mention the chick is hot 🤣

bukiyou na silent cute yaoi comedy
Gokujou no Koibito very nice yaoi, and I like others by the same mangaka minase masara.
Me de Shireru Yoru no Junjou very nice, with a historical touch.
Vassalord really light shounen ai..
Junjou Romantica funny yaoi, but the art takes getting used to...
And a more.. "smutty" so to say yaoi.. read at your own risk Viewfinder and others by the same mangaka...
Hentai-
I don't read much hentai myself, but there are a few that I liked:

Hallow Hallow
And Love Select and others by the same mangaka seem to be popular~
Also A wish of my sister had nice art, but didn't like the plot.

-Shrugs- I never know anymore. Anyway, thats the only sort of Yaoi I read. Hoshi No Yakata was actually my first Yaoi. XDDD
Not to mention she could try the milder stuff first, and only read my suggestions if she wants to.

I'd also recommend Border, Viewfinder or Crimson Spell but those might be a bit too hardcore for you. Too bad, they're pretty interesting.

I would suggest you start with a light version of shounen-ai. How about "Only the ring finger knows"? This one is definitely worth reading. The story is really cute and sweet.
For interesting yaoi series, try Junjo romantica and Totally captivated. Nice story and beautiful drawing!

As to hentai, some of the Death Note (Light x Misa) doujinshis are nice, if you don't mind doujinshi. If you are also interested in Rurouni Kenshin and Spice and Wolf, look for their doujinshis. 🙂

You're probably looking for Shounen-ai, Shoujo-ai, and Smut. Hentai is too strong a word for anything you're looking for. 🤢 It wouldn't be hentai if it wasn't hardcore...
