I really, REALLY want to find mangas like this! Where the "main couple" sees other people during the manga, only to end up together at the manga's conclusion.

The manga should fulfill the following criteria:

1. Both are single to begin with.

2. At least one of them falls in love with and dates SOMEONE ELSE (not the other lead) in the course of the manga, for a significant period of time (at least one chapter). This must be a SERIOUS relationship, with real feelings - I'm not talking casual dating or one-night stands. Actual love must be found elsewhere.

3. Any of these serious intermediate relationships are brought to an end eventually, for whatever reason, and the "main couple" finally gets together at the end.

Oh, and ONLY SHOUJO/JOSEI/BL, please. I'd be willing to consider a seinen manga if it's a really, really sensitive one. Like, practically josei, except it's appeared in a seinen publication. Lol.

Angel Beats--best anime of the 2010 spring season

After school nightmare is a must in this genre. The main character falls in love with two people and dates one for a fairly long period of time before ending up in the main couple. It has genderbender(in a serious way) though and some shoujou ai/shounen ai depending on how you look at it.. Very reccomended. 10 volumes in total.

Other than that I really can't think of any.. o_O
I can think of some sidechara's doing it like Fruits basket;

Akito dating Kureno before getting together with Shigure in the end But no main charas..

I think Peach Girl might fit what you are looking for. The anime is quite good as well (I recommend watching it too).
The description leaves this out but the manga/anime definitely has what you are looking for. I don't want to spoil it so I shall refrain from saying anything else though.
