Mx0 has to be hands down one of my favorite manga of all time. Ive read lots of manga but all have fallen short of its glory though i have found many that have come close (arguably some better but only because there still being made) but i was wondering if there was anything even close to it because ive looked and have found nothing. Just for reference some of my current favorite that im reading include Hayate no Gotoku!, Ashita no Yoichi, and Rosario to Vampire. Though i read many others these are to me some of the most interesting ones. I liked Mx0 because it had almost everything i looked for in manga all tied up into one in genre, great art, and a good story. So if anyone could suggest some good manga to me that would be great, preferably something you personally read and can give an opinion about.
edit: also i prefer longer running manga so the more volumes/chapters it has the better.

Here are a few of my favorites that you might like.

Beelzebub - It has good characters, story, art, and humor. The battles are also well done without dragging on and getting too serious.

Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa - This is by the same author as Mx0 and it just started, so I cant say how good it will be, but I think it has potential.

D-Frag! - If you like Hayate you should like this. I think it has a similar comedic style.

Eyeshield 21 - This is one of my all time favorites. You might not like it if you don't like football but i still think its worth reading.

Half Prince - Good plot and characters

Hokenshitsu no Shinigami - It has a good mix of action and slice of life.

Rappi Rangai - Very good art, a decent story line, and a nice mix of humor.

I hope some of these interest you.

Any of the works by the same author are good, but I wouldn't bother with the longer ones (It seems like on his longer series he just keeps going until it's axe'd instead of just planning to end anything, pretty face is a good example of this)

I don't know if it really fits, but if your looking for something with a similar romance/shounen with a abvious single female love interest and none of that "A Rival Appears" drama, then I'd recommend Inoue Kazurou's works:

Midori no Hibi
love collage

Love collage has a little of the rival drama, but it's only for a very short period and it isn't taken to seriously.

... Now i'm sad. I remember reading about Mx0 being canceled on my birthday...

I enjoy and have read almost all your favorites as my own favorites so I think our tastes are similar, not exactly like it but one of my all time favorites was double arts though it is sadly far too short sad claymore is something you will without a doubt enjoy, you might also enjoy Kurohime and it is definitely long enough

Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa looks awesome but ima wait till there's more released. The Breaker Ive already completed and am on new waves. One Piece....never really got into the manga cus i was watching the anime but to my knowledge they stopped dubbing the anime so might as well give the manga a try lol. Hokenshitsu no Shinigami and D-Frag sound interesting so ill give em a try. Rappi Rangai is awesome but it takes forever for an official translation their the only ones translating so that's gana take a while before i can read more. Midori no Hibi ive already completed was an awesome manga. love collage is on my to read list but i haven't read it yet so ill have to finally try it. Angel Densetsu is also on my list but never tried it either so i guess ill have to finally give it a try. anyways thanks for all the suggestions guys.

Psyren of course!

It has every aspect that Mx0 got. You want the romance with the girl? check! You want magic-like powers? check! You liked how the manga started? check! You like the character growth? check!

The only diference is that school life doesn't affect psyren all that much whereas it plays a major part in Mx0. I am 100% sure you will like it and maybe you will like it more than Mx0 (like me).
