If I'm not mistaken, then you are basically looking for a Manga, which storyline revolves around friendship and includes multiple relationships. Right? But, which genre would you prefer? If you are fine with everything, then how about ...

* Ao Haru Ride and Strobe Edge - They are both Shoujo Mangas by the same author and in my eyes pretty well done, because they focus not simply on the romantic aspects, but also on the character development and surroundings of the main couple, while all the characters stay likeable - Even possible love rivals or other opponents.

* The same goes - more or less - also for Koukou Debut and Kimi ni Todoke, but you probably have already been reading these?

* Tonari no Atashi - Another Shoujo, that may be a match, because it deals with childhood friends and how (unrequited) love can change their relationship.

* One of the newer "classics" are Nana and Hachimitsu to Clover (Josei), although I can't say much about them yet, because they are still on my wish list, but at least they look pretty promising to me.

* Chihayafuru - Three friends are trying to go pro in a competitive version of a traditional Japanese card game, while they are slowly developing feelings for each other. Quite catchy.

* If you are fine with Shounen Ai or Yaoi, there will probably be even more recommendations, like Dear Green: Hitomi no Ounowa or Bokura ni Matsuwaru Etcetera, although those two focus mainly on the main characters and their relationship. But, I will wait for a first response, before mentioning more. ^^"

"Why does it rain?" - "To create drama." (Drops (Andou Yuki))

( i mean.. one fellow from his love experience says something which conflicts with the other's opinion..or any fellow giving more importance to love than career..the other argues about it)

How.. falling in love effected the friendship...

Not really sure if it fits, but Special A had a group of friends and most (if not all) of them fell in love with someone.

Genshiken - The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture. theres a lot of characters, and they fell in love between themselves. there is not much melodrama, but their relationship is very real in an unreal way. the sequel have more drama, but not too much.

add:
Kodomo no Jikan. a trio of kids and their teachers, how one love affect another. it's a lolicon though, not sure if this offend you or not.
