it should have a good storyline and the length doesn't matter.
the art isn't that important too.
and some action wouldn't be bad ^__^

Basara kicks butt. The art's an acquired taste, though. It's the characters that won my heart.

That should fit into your description. Although there is romance in there it takes a back seat to the action in my opinion.
