I don't usually care who the manga-ka is so long as the manga appeals to me.
The one real exceptions to this is Im Dal Young, of whom I'm reading all but one series.
There are a number of yuri authors of whom I've seen multiple series, but this is really more because I follow the genre than the particular authors.

I have some mangaka I follow, but I'm always trying new ones.
And most of the time, I don't even look at the mangaka of the series. If I like it, I like it~ If I'm interested in it, I'm interested in it~
Though I follow Nakamura Yoshiki a lot~

I don't think I have any manga-ka that I "stalk"--at least not consciously. I may be attracted to certain styles, and there might be some kind of subconscious bias I have depending on the manga-ka...
But I don't try to follow anyone in particular; I prefer to stick with series that sound and look interesting instead of reading every single series by a certain author just because I like some of his/her work. And, I actually like it this way, since I don't really have any biases that might keep me from reading a really good series/result in me reading a mediocre series. (For example, I bought the first few manga of Busou Renkin simply because of the author's attachment to Rurouni Kenshin, and I was extremely disappointed. If not for the connection, I might not've bought them in the first place, so the assumption of one [or a few] good series from one manga-ka = the manga-ka's series are all amazing was killed in me pretty quickly.)

None in particular, but if I like a particular work, I usually check to see if he/see made anything else. Then if anything looks interesting I'll read it

I chose the 3rd option.
The only mangaka I like are Inoue Takehiko, Oda Eiichiro, and Itou Junji. But there's no harm in looking for another favorite.

Never was one to follow authors when it comes to manga. It's pretty damn rare when I even remember their names. I'm more likely to read by genre. Still, if their stuff was good, I'd look at their other titles and pick out whatever looks good.
