I feel humans tend to like shorter names. It's like when you give a person a nickname. Usually it's shorter than their real name!

Not a very popular poll. I think many people misunderstood my mention of the "I'm Looking For..." forum as part of the question rather than just an example of the question.
The scenario spelled out by our member vivant is specific and is as follows. You're the 3rd party observer, and you see other people giving series recommendations to each other, such as in our I'm Looking For... forum (in case you didn't know that existed). Do you ever end up reading those series that are recommended, even though you weren't the original person asking for a suggestion? Any hidden gems that you've discovered that you'd like to share?
