Honey Blonde is a Hentai, Romance about a typical high school perverted relationship. This manga lacks in originality but it certainly makes up for it, by providing an enjoyable read for h-manga readers.

Plot / Story
As the title implies, it’s about your classic blonde bimbo Eleanor (well not much of a bimbo), who’s infatuated over her fellow classmate Masaki. From the get go it’s already established that the pair are pretty much an item, so all that’s left is to sit back, unzip your pants and enjoy this 7 chapter romp fest. I’m not much of a h-manga fan but I do enjoy ones that contain a progressive storyline and even though there’s nothing special about the minor issues the couple face, it’s always great to see a story progress from start to finish. Just a shame that their relationship was already established in the beginning, so there’s not much romantic development.

Characters
Same can be said about the characters, since the few that appear don’t receive much development but at least they’re all likable. Eleanor who I personally liked for being a bit of a Japanophile and Masaki is just a regular Japanese kid; no clichés involved just a regular kid.

Drawing Style
At first glance there isn’t anything remarkable about the artwork, with the character being so plain-looking however the mangaka certainly knows what he’s doing, having so much detail and effort put into this seemingly plan manga. Not to mention that like most h-manga, a lot more effort goes towards sex scenes in order to provide a pleasurable experience.

Overall / Enjoyment
Overall Honey Blonde is like all the other h-manga worthy of being reviewed… great. Nothing special about it because the story in particular was somewhat lacking but at least it was able to tackle issues of relationship insecurities well and eventually came to a climactic finish.
