5.5

Couple 1: Confusing in the beginning. Cute couple, with one sharing his roses with his neighbor and the other eavesdropping on him singing on the balcony. *lmao* 6/10

Couple 2: Focuses on the uke's work friend from the first story. It was okay, but sad. 5/10

Couple 3: I like the idea in this but these stories just _lack_ something to make me enjoy them more. Maybe it's the lack of real build up. I did like the followup about Paul and the older couple. 6/10

LOVED the last story, other two were fine

first story was cute, but too rushed, in my opinion. the mangaka could have perfectly left it as the start to a relationship instead of throwing the characters together. Still, the feelings of regret, guilt and of wanting to protect someone were portrayed effectively.

second story was nicely executed, although I was confused as to the timeline and character relationships at first. I really liked how I could instantly tell that the detective was instantly interested in the lawyer without anything being said, just the shock of a poignant love confession in his hand. The grief the lawyer went through was believable. I liked how this was basically a story of the detective watching and slowly falling in love with the lawyer even though an investigation was taking place all the while.

Last story was my favorite. I loved the atmosphere and historical setting. The characters are nicely constructed and the conflict was simple but well-built against the backdrop of an aristocratic society in the countryside. The feeling reminded me of the novel Wuthering Heights without all the drama nonsense that I HATED from the novel. The feelings were poignant and felt authentic. I loved the extra, gave me some satisfaction after a quite abrupt ending.

I didn't care for any of the stories in this collection tbh. Did not like the writing and certainly not the characters. Art is rather messy, as per usual for this artist, and did not help make such convoluted execution become any clearer. I feel like the mangaka was too occupied with coming up with new and unique plots that she kinda neglected everything else equally important in a story in the process.

This is really good and the plot is interesting. I like how the story flows perfectly and it keeps you on your seat. I would have given this a 10 if not for the flaw of the first story. It's not bad but there's something missing in it. If the first story was stretched a bit then I guess it would turn out amazing since it had a potential.

The second story would be better if it was stretched for about too but I'm satisfied with it. Second story has that angst kind of thing but they didn't continue delivering it so that's kinda sad sad( Though like I said I was more satisfied with it than the first story.

Third story is GOLD! It's one of those manga where you only need a few chapters to be blown away. I wouldn't say it's absolutely amazing because I've read mangas that are better but it's just one of a kind that you wouldn't be to help not to fall I love with it. It's really refreshing and the art helps a lot.
I recommend this

Worth a read

I just really love reading mangas with a good plot and older ukes. I liked all the stories of this manga. Though I noticed that almost of the stories I've read so far of this mangaka, seemed like it missed or skipped a part or two. It's like there was something left blank, that's why it could be sometimes confusing. Oh well...this has always been a problem of the yaoi mangas I read. Also, the stories started good but ended in such a haste. It's really depressing. I really wished they prolong such good stories and cut short of those that are not.
I'm still on search of my best yaoi manga. Too bad it's not this one. I have high standards after all. But I'd still give it a 10/10. I'm not that strict and selfish with rates.
