Description
From Shoujo Manga Maniac:
Tsubaki Beniko, 16 years old. After being rescued by the handsome prince of the school Kendo Club, Shirotae Shiki-kun, she fell in love with him! But even after becoming a couple, Beniko sees him always distant, and she wants him to be more like a boyfriend should be! But once Beniko's childhood friend, Kurosu Yui-kun, comes back, maybe that'll be the time for Shiki to show his real feelings for her!

I agree with Twilight Moon.
Kawaii Ore-sama was much better than this. The story was bit more unbelievable than than the other oneshots, but hey, it's shoujo, not slice-of-life. It's not supposed to be too believable.
I agree that the story could be better, but the art in this one, I would say is satisfying. Sure, there's the whole "Big eyes for the girl, short and spiky hair for the guys" shoujo hype, but I'd say this manga-ka does it in a very cute style that any shoujo fan would enjoy.
All in all, this story isn't the best brain food, but it sure is very cute to read. Give it a chance if you want to give those shounens a break.

why those comments i really loved the manga it was relli AWSOME and its like one of my favs it was soo sweet...of course kawai oresama was also relli good but i still liked this one better
Don't read this if you can't stand weak and spineless females, because it'll leave a sour taste in your mouth. Beniko is that exact type; begging, clinging, and constantly chasing after her cool "prince" of a boyfriend, who doesn't seem to care. That's basically 90% of the oneshot, and it was downright painful watching her crawl around pathetically, acting like his slave. For the sake of a happy ending, the cold boyfriend's personality does a sudden 180 and this is all attributed to his "real feelings" being revealed. Not only does this not make it any better, it's quite unbelievable and just left me confused.
And as far as the art goes, there's nothing special here that couldn't be found in hundreds of other shoujo manga. Big eyes for the girl, short and spiky hair for the guys, and so on. I'd recommend saving your time for some other oneshots.

Kawaii Oresama was so much better. The female here is so... weak, she keeps trying to please her boyfriend even though he seems like he doesn't care. Gah! So cliche and typical.
