Description
This is Sahaquel, a beautiful country surrounded by the blue vast sea where the south wind blows softly on your cheek throughout the year. The art was pretty, the plot was typical. The romance was a bit too shota, for me. I had to keep telling myself "okay, he just looks young for his age" to get through it, and it didn't help that the other characters kept calling Aisha a child! Ugh. There should be a shota label on this, maybe?
I actually dropped this before it was finished being scanlated, but got bored so decided to read it through. It's pretty shallow without anything close to realistic development, and without anything to make up for that. The art is pretty, but way too shota-y for my taste.
For stories with themes and settings similar to this manga, this one is certainly above the average quality. Not only is the art gorgeous (as always from Homerun Ken-sensei), the story undoubtedly has a few things up its sleeve, and I like the characters to a certain degree. I guess they have a certain 'dynamic' together, both main and side characters that is. Nonetheless, I can't deny there are a few flaws I could point out from the manga as a whole, and ultimately things got a bit too handy towards the ending for my liking.

I don't really like this so much - maybe because I don't enjoy BL stories with too feminine characters. It's something I can imagine reading to pass time but I am not excited for the next chapters. This could easily be a shoujo. I mean, Aisha looks like a flat chested girl! Very cute and light hearted manga, but nothing special.
The art is interesting--or maybe it's the toning in particular that I'm attracted to? And I like how the uke isn't supa SUPA girlie--just young. (lmao only in yaoi-dom would that be considered better...?) But anyway, I noticed this especially in chapter 4 when the uke's hands were against his face and I just thought, "THANK GOD he has normal boy fingers instead of freaky feminine tapering ones!" I mean... By girly-uke standards, MY fingers don't even look feminine and I have two XX chromosomes, so go figure.
The story was okay. I liked that the seme wasn't one of those demanding lovers who rapes his bought lover. The emotional development is a little slow, but that's also a good thing when compared to other mangas. Therefore, this was more shounen-ai than yaoi. What I didn't like was that the seme bought the uke girl clothes to wear. *rolls eyes* I enjoyed the humor: his secretary (named Sabas) complaining and getting yelled at for speaking his mind. heehee. Volume 1 may be completed, but the story/series isn't.
I really realy love it! But I feel the ending is kind of a cliffhanger... if chapter four is the ending. But I love the art and the sweetness of the story. And its very sweet. Or at least in my opinion. (I don't read a lot of sweet stuff.)
I am not sure why, but i fell in love with this story. Maybe my weaknesses to girly uke XD.
