Situational romance about noticing each other
by Hyoroemon
March 28th, 2018, 3:13am
Rating: 10.0  / 10.0
Story and character 8/10
Your typical "girl suddenly appear and want to make love with MC. What make it good that it deal with MC's insecurity about being normal (aside from being human). It also deal with minor theme like loneliness, jealousy and inferiority complex. It done good by not going to far with this, else it become another series with similiar setting.

Art 9/10 all a moderate fanservice work deserve
You probably have seen the artist art from his mainstream work: Kimi ga Iru Machi. Due to this works fanservice nature you will see slightly more curve but overall it have the same 'long-limb' character anatomy. Most of the longing-face design suit this series "melancholy and anxiety" theme.

Fanservice 9/10
And to adress the elephant in the room they are not to excessive but present in almost every chapter

Overall enjoyment 10 because in the end, this is my favourite demongirl work.

It was a decent casual read overall..until the end.

Damn that ending was shit on so many levels. Yuta remained a useless standard naively pacifistic harem "hero" till the end; literal Deus Ex Machina happens to end the final battle and nothing is actually resolved in terms of...well...anything. Typical harem ending which is to say absolutely unsatisfying.

Cliche but fun

Whats there to say? Angel girls "battle" Demon girls for teenage human male, cue harem hijinks.

Its far from original but the art and writing are top notch, as expected of an artist/author with several mangas serialized and completed series under his belt. If all you want is something simple and fun to read, you can't go wrong here.

Overused but not all that bad.

Yes yes demon/angel fighting centered around a human isn't exactly what i call new but this one isn't really that bad. I for one like the artwork. The story isn't all that bad either. There are far FAR worse mangas out there. Besides, this almost seems kinda episodic. Yeah sure the theme is the same as it always was but atleast it's not using just one arc and stretching that out over a period of who knows how long(for example look at 'kimi no iru machi'. That series is just dragging along pointlessly. The artwork is quite similar though.).

This was...

Boring. There was not enough story to keep it going. It seems like Yuta has no sexual interest in Lucia at all, nor with his love interest Rie. He was as cold in his love excitement and lack of emotion towards both girls as a rock would be. Not to mention the story feels repetitive after 3 chapters of basically doing the same things. There is hardly any action in this except pointless fan service scenes and not being funny.

Other then that, the art was pretty good, and the manga layout was ok, so I will give this story a 2. (Although Yuta's hair annoyed me somehow)

Ecchi and Fun

A cute fun ecchi series. I only wish that the magaka wouldn't just take the "easy" rout in getting the girls clothing off (ie done to up the the number of drawings of half naked girls; as opposed to uping the mood), it really reduces the ecchi-nes of the scenes. The characters are enjoyable enough and I like the humor does well when it plays off the angel/demon's quirks.

Recommended if you're looking for something lighthearted with partial nudity.

New chapters every other month. So chapter 18 won't come out until 2012. <sigh>

... although well done at times: the art is top-notch and the author knows when it's time for fun or depth.

2 volumes later however, Seo is already running out of ideas and recycling antics and tropes we've already seen in To Love Ru.

There's definitely still room from improvement.

its a bit lighter and funny, compared to his previous works.
(I kinda liked the ribbons on Lucia's horn XD)

I hope the story would still develop well over, despite being totally comical. Which many other author failed to do.

Disapointment

The series was way too echi for my liking The story could have been decent but its clear that the main point of the manga is to show off H scenes. Pity, I love SEO Kouji's series but this one is a total waste of time. Hope he drops it soon and focuses on his other series (he has to many running at the same time).
