Description
Lotus Girls' Academy. A school whose aim is to educate young girls to be pure and modest. Youko is a new transfer student here, and immediately takes a liking to Shuu, who shows her around the school. However, Youko discovers a big secret about Shuu... she's a vampire! Youko then does her best to be the best friend she can be and help Shuu protect her secret... whether Shuu likes it or not! But how does Shuu really feel about Youko... and why does her blood taste so different? And to what lengths will Youko go to help Shuu?

This manga was looking very well overall, can't tell if the plot is a cliche or original since the Vampire theme is been exploited already but this one have some new factors that made it interesting. Characters and relationships development was great and also the history was advancing at a good rate. However, there comes the chapter 12 and ruined it all in just 2 pages.
If i have to bet on it, it looks like the serie was about to continue after this chapter since nothing is resolved here, prolly it was about to being cancelled and the author just wrote "End" instead of "To Be Continued" and made it a open end... sad.

It was pretty good and I'm glad it didn't make the default assumption that Shuu would be female because of her school, but I was disappointed that it made Shuu's decision down to be "If I'm female I can only be friends with Youko, but if I'm male we can be more," despite Misora obviously being in love with her. And the rushed end made it disappointing.
Plot is a good twist on romance, character development is good, art is good, and the romance is cute..... unfortunately it doesn't really have any wow moments, and nothing is really resolved by the end. You can easily assume what happens between them, but that's the only option there is :/. Not one of the greats, but very far from the worst there is.
I'm suprised there is no reviews for this one, I'm not a huge shoujo-ai fan but I actually found this pretty interesting. Basically about a young girl who transfers to a new school and discovers one of the students is a vampire - of sorts. There's actually another big thing about her which I won't spoil here but suffice to say I wasn't really expecting. Still, it was enough to make me read on and enjoy it. Plot is good, if not fantastic, and the art is pretty nice to (perhaps 'cute' would be a better word). Characters were also pretty fun to read as well. While fun-loving Youko is what she appears to be on the surface, Shuu isn't. It's actually pretty funny watching her put up a brilliant 'feminine' facade, then watch as her temperament does an entire 180 behind closed doors.
oh yeah, I just noticed it was in the genre section so I'm not really giving away a spoiler by saying this, if you're a gender bender lover you'll definately like this to. Give it a go.
