Description
From Tokyopop:

Mitsuo Shiozu is a lonely high-school student who happens to be psychic. Spirits 'use' his body and mind to communicate with the dead and to help the living. These ghostly apparitions use Mitsuo in order to put right things that were left undone in life, or to tie up ends that were left loose before they left the land of the living.

In the process, Mitsuo often finds that these 'visitations' change his own life in ways he could not predict.

I Liked It But...

...I felt like I was left hanging. No real closure, it just kinda stopped. The main love interest [Hasanuma] was great and the rogue sexual harasser [Mikuni] was all you'd expect and the naive. kinda clueless Mitsuo was adorably funny. So, why didn't it Wow me when it had all the ingredients for a great cat and mouse love story? I enjoyed reading it but it just seemed like the author said, 'Eh, that's enough.' and just stopped without finishing the series. One of the characters that starts getting developed enough to like, Ichi, just falls away into limbo with a token page at the end, as if the author remembered he was in the story. It's a fun read, with some sexy moments, but it leaves ya wantin' more.

Funny but little disappointing ending

It was nice and it was really funny.
The end of 3rd volume really makes you await a lot from last volume. The last volume wasn't bad. (It makes you just feel that Mitsuo is really really stupid xD) But to tell the true it really caught me (cause...in the middle of last volume I was near going to throw the book out of the window..xD) but somehow I probably awaited little more from the very ending. The solving was rather quite disappointing because how it was cut short. It feels like it wasn't ended properly. It's such a pity.

ever had the feeling where theres a lot of buildup and something just seems so amazing and complex and cute and exciting? the first 3 volumes were like this and then you get to the fourth....theres a great bit of silliness and use of irony, but then it all goes downhill like a new car coming to an amazingly quick halt. no slow down. no warning. just BAM over.

Only the 1st volume is worthy

After that, the story loses it's focus.

I really enjoyed volume 1, but then it slowly became worse and worse to the point that I regretted buying the 4th volume in the end.

So if you want to read this story and still keep a good taste in your mouth, just read volume 1, that's the only volume with character development.

This was just ok. A lot of my faves are on the older side because they run longer and have better stories, but this isn't one of those. The artwork is dated, though it gets better over time. It may have been the translation, but there were often times where I found it confusing or felt like it skipped something mid page and I had to just forget about it and move along. The whole thing is a bit chaotic and silly. It sort of has the plot of a hentai, if you ask me(IE: all over the place and mostly just setting up situations for characters to get it on...only no one ever really does, in this case). I wouldn't have read through the whole thing if I hated it, but I didn't really think it was all that great either.

Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa(Fan girl scream)

Now if you really want to know about this manga you shouldn't be reading my review. Trust me. Yes I am a yaoi fan girl, and if you've ever had any experience with one you'd know...they talk on end without getting to the point, and always about one this. The cock. So let us begin

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Hasunuma!! He is so amazing;y sexy and so obvious about his feelings. Mitsuo is just too dense to understand. Hmp! Oh well. I also loved Mikuni! He was what kept the plot going in the later chapters. *deep sigh* Oh, he warms the soul...but that isn't all.

Mikuni is and forever will be the most perverted pedophile, gay, rapist, priest man to ever enter the manga world. I solute you SHIOZU Shuri. It was an honor reading your manga.

Now Ichi was just adorable even though it was an unrequited love think going on there. Poor him. And it might sound mean, but he was good for a few laughs.

And Hsunuma *Shivers* that guy was epic. I think I feel in love a little while reading this. Speaking of Hasunuma, what was his first name?...I guess we'll never know.

Well it seems my Yaoi-Fan-Girl excitement has died dow so I'll be serious now. The art at the beginning of the manga is well, better than what I can do but not the best. Of course later on the art becomes amazing!! It really adds to the effect. I like how the characters slowly changed, and become something else all together. All of them did this...except Mikuni. But he doesn't count...because he's awesome. No use arguing with my flawless logic.

I think I've written enough.Maybe a little more. Okay, done. (if you love yaoi, read it, if you don't...what are you doing reading this. Haven't you figured it out yet? Bye!)

Eerie Queerie aka Ghost is full of flaws and stupidity but it's so funny that you forget all of this while you're reading. So it's not very sophisticated humour but it really did have me laughing out loud, which is a rarity for a manga. I'd say to anyone BL lover to read it if they can, just for the laughs.

This is like...Gravitation, in the sense that its a good idea for a person first shounen ai/ yaoi (ISH) manga. But when you go back and read it years down the line after having read real thought out shounen ai and yaoi, you realize this isnt that great. XD Good memories, but not that amazing.

Some interesting ideas, but overall the plotting seemed uneven with breaks in plot continuity, story arcs that went nowhere, side characters that stopped developing completely as the mangaka seemed to lose interest ..... unsettling read.

this is like the Gravitation anime. Extremely toned down. i was hoping for a lot more when i read that it was a shounen-ai.
The story is pretty decent though.
