Description
Meiji Haruhito (Kanemochi-kun/the rich boy) just can't understand Misaki (Binbou-kun/the poor boy), but quickly falls for him anyway. However, Haruhito's love life is under threat. Not from a cute girl or ex-lover, but from his own grandfather. The boys' grandfathers knew each other when they were young and Haruhito's grandpa is delighted when he meets Misaki, who looks and acts like his late friend and (unrequited) love.

@Angelkurisutin You're not the only one. I cried as well which I didn't expect. I was just reading the manga and it's a pretty slow paced manga then boom - I am just hit with a bunch of emotions. Lovely manga and I added this you my favorites.
BEST LOVE TRIANGLE EVER. LOVE.

lmao. the strange threat the grandfather posed on meiji and misaki's relationship was interesting, though dismissive. i think this story was constructed really well, even though it was quite simple. i love that how through no explanation at all, you could feel meiji's powerlessness against his grandfather and the contrast between his rich-boy background and misaki's able-ness and independence. though meiji is rich and has it all, in reality he holds no swaying power over many aspects in his life and realizes this through his observation of the hard-working misaki. this culminates, in essence, when meiji's grandfather steps in during a difficult time and "steals" misaki from meiji. really, really well done.
also, the final image from the last chapter is ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS. meiji's grandfather-san, when are you going to take a hint XD

I really wish there more to the story, but I think I'm satisfied with the resolution. This was really a brilliant piece. I'm a little surprised with myself, but I cried as I read it. Meiji's love was so painful for me. Hideyoshico-sensei is an artist who really shows her mastery with manga as an art form through this piece, deliberately using images instead of words at times to deliver the most powerful emotional impact. I would also consider this one which falls under the 'Drama' category. While it's true that as the reader, one understand Meiji's grandfather proves no real threat, it's the emotional turmoil that Meiji suffers because of his grandfather's involvement that most greatly influences his relationship with Misaki and the reader's emotions. That was my experience, at least. On a lighter note, Misaki's gradual falling for Meiji was really very cute (but too slow!) I loved this, and I think it's something worth reading.
loved it!

the characters were just so cute >w< the grandpa alsdkfjdsla
Like what Justiflake said, there wasn't much explanation, but i don't think explanation was needed since all is shown, not told. Just from their actions and expressions, their thought and their feelings are clear.

The characters were nice and interesting, the overall story was better than your average rich kid / poor kid story, but the dialog and interactions between the main characters were so awkward and bland. A lot of things weren't properly explained, so the character's actions got confusing at times (although that could have been because of a faulty translation, but I doubt it), and it felt like they cut out a part of the book.
The ending, in my opinion, was also unsatisfying. If it was going to be like that, it could have been a lot more enjoyable.
