It makes me laugh every time! The girl is strong, hilarious and adorable; I like how, for a change, it's not the girl chasing the guy, but the other way around.
GuyFreakz: Manga Abyss changed their name. They're known as Hokkaido Hub now and list Sugar Family among their current projects, although I don't know what the status of the next chapter is.

When I first started reading this (like...almost a decade ago now, wow), just judging by the first few volumes, I found this manga typical but enjoyable. I did mostly keep up with it over the years, everything but the last volume, and that impression pretty much stayed the same - nothing new, exciting, or noteworthy, just a casual fluff piece. That being said, after the last volume came out and everyone started complaining about the ending, I just...didn't care to finish it. I come back to this now, with it still hanging out on my reading list, and finally decide to officially drop this title. I still appreciate the fun I got out of it and don't regret picking it up...but at the same time, I can't really say I would recommend this manga to others.
What I will say, though, is the oneshot in the first volume, 'Private Princess', is something that I really enjoyed. I wish that was released separately so I could rate and review it on its own, but since it isn't, I'll just tell you here that it has a really interesting premise and characters I enjoyed (also, I'm always a fan of a failed training montage - i.e., you can't make up for years of not doing something by practicing intensely for a few days). I've gone back and read it a few times now, and it's definitely at least an 8/10 for me. 🙂

It is too cute. I have to agree with everyone about this being reminiscent of Ouran. Wahhh. It is just soo soo cute. I love everything. Especially the chapter with the nude Taichi-sensei. So hot!
HILARIOUS!

I was hesitant to pick it up because I'm not fond of teacher/student relationships in manga but after reading the comments here, I decided to give it a try. I definitely agree with everything lialah's comment said. I loved how it started off, misleading the readers into thinking it's one of those student/teacher smut shoujo manga- but turned out to be something totally different. Like lialah mentioned, Yuka and Taichi and their interactions are totally reminiscent of Tamaki and Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club. Despite being hilarious, there were also some moments that really touched me. A great read and I can't wait for more. (and Taichi-sensei is so cute and hot at the same time!)
A lot more than it seems...

Like everyone else here, when I started reading this I thought it would be just another student/ teacher manga. To my suprise, I found it to be so much more than that. The plot is absolutely hilarious, but it also has it's dramatic moments, and they come at the right times. It seems to have a slight 'Eden no hana' feel to it, at least in terms of the sometimes tense but funny interaction with the characters.
Speaking of the characters... as I was reading this they seemed to remind me of a certain pair, then it hit me. Tamaki and Haruhi of Ouran host club! Yuka is somewhat like Haruhi, at least in the respect of her cool and somewhat sarcastic personality. On the other hand, Taichi is a lot like Tamaki, and I found his goofy and childish personality very funny. Further, the interaction between these two is absolutely hilarious, and quite reminiscent of Haruhi and Tamaki.
Overall, a very funny manga with original characters. Highly recommended!

Well, normally I'd give most shoujo manga a miss 'cos many are just so blah on character development and absolutely thin on plot. However, this title is just too hilarious for words and it's interesting how they interact with one another.
Love it~

I love this manga and I agree with those who posted before me. I really like the main character. She's not those ditzy types that just falls in love just like that!

at first, I thought it was one of those sugary shoujo manga that can be used to pass time with. But its more than what it seems. I especially like the character developement and the not-so-fast-girl-falls-in-love-with-guy scenario. I also like how the girl is the independent strong type instead of those who drool over the main guy.

I agree with Axlish. It's a LOT more interesting than I thought it would be... I think the emotions, while exaggerated compared to real life (?), are still based on reality and more complex than a lot of other series with a similar concept. It's unexpectedly very good!

Ah, this manga is better than I thought it would be. I really like how the main character isn't annoying and drooling all over the main guy. She's cool. <3
