in my opinion, if this turned into a manga or anime as is then I'd go out of my way to own them mainly because of the most epic battle scenes. I get some people might think that the romantic scene and other comedic scenes are childish but ine must take the readership and target audience into account so for me although I mostly read seinen this is an excellent and exciting shounen read. Definitely recommend it to people who won't just read the superficial aspects of the story

After reading all the recommendation I can't help but say something
First of all I wanna say MC wasn't really bullied that badly
surely mc is an otaku but that is because he want to follow his parents professions.
he was not push over or abused by his classmate
maybe there is some discrimination but not to the point you can call it bullying
people who never been bullied by their life love to comment about bullying when they have no single clue about it.
MC was just harass because beautiful girl in his class has crush on him but was never been bullied.
When you read again summary he is labeled incompetent but if you clearly read and understood volume1 you can see the reason of that because he already have a fix future for himself.
All along there was really no bullying just 1 group or 1 person harassing him by words which I can say thats not bullying you can bad mouth someone all you want.
MC power up was not good? I'm surprise many people say this is bad so I can't help but lol
I read a lot with same plot but I can see the power up of mc in this is unique
People who don't know how to struggle and just sitting pretty won't understand this story.
MC work really hard to power up as a result having those OP stat is a given. Read twice and maybe one well understand his power up is justified.
Then again people really don't understand this story. The so called summoned heroes here was really irrelevant because this world is a world where god play with each other and a hero is just a toy to them. They didn't expect the MC mutation as you read further you well understand this.
The harem is near perfect for me.
Many hated the loli vampire? I say aren't you guys just a bunch of real life pedophiles don't hate the mc having loli vampire just because you can't have one in real life. People who harshly comment about the loli vampire get a life.
The rabbit girl? you didn't even consider the situation why the rabbit girl was desperate and just judge her on the spot. try putting her on your shoes you might understand a little.
The Dragon girl? You haven't meet an M yet? or maybe your an M but just don't want to admit it? whats wrong being an M? its only abnormal if you think abnormal about it. Keep your perverted thoughts for your self. Its not bad to have pleasure towards pain most people like this are survivors of trauma and such that inflict to much pain towards them. yeah I'm standing to all the M out there don't be ashamed M is much better than S.
The beautiful classmate? clearly you guys haven't read everything or failed to understand anything and just bad mouth the story on spot. MC and the beautiful class mate has history. Beautiful classmate loving the mc is justified and was not just created on spot.
Having that said the girls in MC harem is wonderful although not perfect I can't say anything bad about them.
If you really read this story and didn't just drop it half way you will find the greatness of it.
Most people who commented drop it because they failed to understand then to justify there lack of understanding they harshly commented and bad mouth it. You can bad mouth the story all you want but for those who have yet to read it before judging the story try to understand a little about it.
When reading the story don't forget what you are reading is fiction which is not the same as reality.

Now here's some aspects that made me completely loathe this series :

first thing you got to remember is that this is a web LN!
as a light novel i think this is one of the better written one out there. althought MC's OP but not as bad as many other LNs as you read alone the chapters, handling of characters is definitely in the high upper class of the LN writters-unlike even some popular writters who 'lose' characters in the story due to having too many of them.
as a LN i think it is most important that the story should be enjoyable to read and i think this writer definitely done it well.

Like the title says, this LN is basically if one of the worse fanfics got published. As everyone is saying, the way the MC and his class is introduced into this world is typical and cliched, the characters are predictable and again cliched, even the way MC and to a lesser degree his classmates get powerful is predictable and cliched.

Some people say they liked the MC's personality after his power-up(which is actually his 2nd personality change) and hate is personality after meeting the "loli-vampire"(which is his 3rd, and not his last) but here's the thing. Before that change the MC's situation was like if someone was given just a utility-belt while everyone else was given superpowers, but that utility-belt could be as decked out as Batman's. And before the "betrayal" he and his classmates were finally seeing him in a different light, but right when it's getting good, right when he's reaching a level of pseudo-originality, he "dies" and undergoes a power-up of a eyerollingly high level that your eyes might pop out, jump on the floor and drill through the earth(exaggeration obviously).

The story begins to go so far up the average teenager's butt that you could call the cops for statutory rape. Everything else is just power fantasy and BAD haremness. That's to say there can be good harems, even mediocre harems, but this sure ain't one. Every single character after that point, new and old, is just used to either show just how powerful the MC is, become the MC's love interest, or show just how useless everyone else is.

I would equate it to a bad Dynasty Warrior game, key being bad not unplayable. Even a bad Dynasty Warrior game can be fun to certain people. Unfortunately if you have even a little bit of curiosity then this likely won't be for you, but if you can turn off your brain, not question even a little bit of what something means or why someone did anything, and enjoy it it can be a good time waster, but even then you likely won't come back to it.

Have you ever found you're self reading a [mostly action] manga or LN you're 7 to 10 volume invested then you look at genre and it says romance or romantic sub-plot but all you have got are mc caught her in the nude and gets slapped or their faces get a little close and the heroine hinted at liking the mc or said in the story but not directly to mc then after reading another 5-12 volumes and they finally get it all and you're so happy but then 1-3 volumes the story end with the epilogue with them getting married or traveling then you realize I've only see them as a couple for so little time and it's over ain't it a bummer unless there is a reason like trauma or something along the lines and not just a dense dumb ass but with this the MC meets heroine trapped underground for a month or two after getting out they both know they love each and they get though what most would take a series to get to very refreshing in that part.

Authors this days seems to miss the difference between being a tough anti-hero and being an as**ole. If you want to see an unnecessary cruel overpowered child constantly abusing women who, of course, fall for him. Well, he is cruel and brutal any chance he gets... except when he meets the one guy he has a reason to hate, he just let's it go.
As many said, it all goes downhill after the mc finds the loli vampire. Is not that i dislike romance, but it is just awkward and poorly handled in this LN. Romantic scenes seems to come out form the mind of a 13 y/o kid.
The only two characters with a functioning brain are Meld and the sword-girl. The teacher, who should be the voice of wisdom for this teenagers lost in this strange world is just as childish as them, endlessly dwelling in her guilt over an event it was clearly not her fault.

I lasted a bit longer than other reviewers before losing all interest as well.

Let me tell you: it was badly done from the very beginning, but where it REALLY starts to fall apart is when the perspective switches to the other 'heroes' who are SO DUMB as to be completely unrealistic and terribly annoying.

Unfortunately, the miserable author feels the need to spend COUNTLESS CHAPTERS focused entirely on these losers, in the all too obvious, ham-fisted attempt to then wow the reader by showing how the MC will *not be retarded* like the others and hence not fail miserably in the same situations (thanks in no small part to him be so ridiculously OP).

Ugh. It was so painful to watch these morons proudly 'compete'.

... Sometimes in life, you find yourself dumpster-diving and consuming trash, in the slim hopes you will find that rare pearl. Unfortunately, in this case the briefly fun parts become fewer and farther apart, and the growing cast starts to get really unwieldy quite fast:

Like many light novels, it starts out decently with the usual transportation of a bunch of high schoolers to be "heroes" in a new world. So the MC is a weak as hell otaku...at least there's some growth to look forward to, right? WRONG. The entire start goes down the drain and the MC suddenly becomes the definition of OP and his personality entirely vanishes. The author betrays the reader's intelligence and pulls one of the most disgusting character development moves possible. He could have done so much more with the MC but 100% gives in to teenagers' wish fulfillment.

Think this is bad? No, it gets even worse when he introduces the and from there on, the dialogue is completely unreadable. Anyone with any self dignity will want to facedesk hard with each passing line or as the author's favorite line is: "pop a vein."

Do yourself a favor and avoid this unless you have a scientific interest in how bad a novel can go.

The story was going so well until the lolicon vampire showed up. Sad to say that the story took a downhill since they focused on flirtation and romance more so than his quest for retribution.
