awsome artwork & storyline, intuitive character cast, great in so many ways. Don't think there are any other manga's out there with 30+ 'main characters' that work so nicely lol. But, if you're trying to decide on the anime or the manga first, i'd say the Anime. Why? well, if you read the manga first then go to the anime, you'll be horribly disappointed in the most part. BUT, if you see the anime first, then the manga will be that much sweeter.
what can i say!
AKAMATSU!!
i love his work..
the manga?
ohh the manga is pretty good, funny, and romance!
the anime is pretty good 2..but manga is always better!^^
From the comments some peeps don't like the series latter. So far i've only read to Vol 6 and its been great since vol 3. If that holds up remains to be seen.
I've never read Love Hina, so i dun know how to compare each other but for me this manga was the best of the best you can found...
if u dun like the anime than read this manga... I'm sure u wont disappointed^^
First things first, this is the opinion of a person who is a fan of ecchi series, romance series, comedy series, and other basically shounen-type series. That being said, I think that this series is awesome.
Initially, I had expected this to be just another school-harem-ecchi series, but as it progressed, I realised that it was, but at the same time it was much more. The series seems to me like a fusion between harem-ecchi-romance manga like Love Hina and more shounen-action type manga like Flame of Recca.
Personally, I feel that the series gets better as it progresses, slowly moving beyond simply the school-side of things and delving into the whole magic aspect of the series.
this is a great title if you are into the whole harem genre, otherwise this is a stupid title that has a little too much panties and not enough seriousness. that said i can say that i love it and hope i can figure out how to download the next volume
I have been reading this manga since it came out and I am exahusted of laughing... He did it again, just like with Love Hina! Akamatsu!
Don't bother.
Love Hina had something. This manga is just fanservice.
Iv'e never read Love Hina before, so I'm not gonna compare Negima to it.
Negima is an excellent manga: It has a mixs of ecchi, fantasy, romance and comedy altogether, which is not a common thing.
I began seeing the anime because it looked funny, and it was. Then I read the manga and it's even better - The storyline is great, The drawings are awasome....
I really recommend Negima to any fan of Fan Service / Comedy... It may not be the best ecchi, but it defiently worths reading.
