I love Akamatsu's work, especially Love Hina. Definitely a series to check out, it will be worth your time. btw, this takes harem-style manga to a new level.... I mean really... 30+ girls... Negi sure has his little 10 yr old hands filled.

If you liked Love Hina you'll like this one as well...Its about 10 year old magic teacher Negi who is now chosen to be an english teacher as his test in becominga mage..But hes a teacher in all girls school...All 14 year old girls (there are 31 of them) have likeness to him..some stronger some less...But hes just a kid though...oh well it gets funny...

I liked the caharacters of this mange they are unique (31 on females!) though some do remind you love Hina like Asuna-Naru, but if you look carefully they still have their own difference...

Its comedy echii situation shounen...But not really that romantic as Love Hina was...still it has its own strong point...Just watch it...Its really nice anime/manga to spend your time with..(though lOve Hina was better since plot leaves some places to be wished)

I hope negi got infinite harem. He should. I give it 10 because this mangaka is one of my favorite and good story harem and I hope it end like negi got all the girls to be his wife. If not, I will drop it 😀

even after 21 or 22 vol. it's still interesting. not as interesting as it was in its earlier arcs, but you really have to hand it out to akamatsu for having to deal with such a manga with a character count of god knows how many. sure it does gets boring at some point, but its not going down the lonely road of hopelessness. everything comes to an end, and like Love Hina, i hope this one ends soon or it will be like another HxH(a good manga that time raped)

when i first saw this series, i thought it was a bit of a rip off of Harry Potter. Still i gave it a try, and plot is different (of course or the mangaka would get sued). It was funny at times, entertaining, but the story got annoying. I tend to pick it up after finals since it recieved such a high rating but currently i believe it is undeserving of a 8.7 average

its a very cool manga,and i dont know what to say but u must read it to believe it!
theres so many pretty girls i cant remember all the names!
this manga is 10 times way better and completely different than the stories in the animated series.

This manga had a good premise until it basically turned into a Dragon Ball Z clone.

All of the wonderful character development and comedic aspects that were present in the earlier volumes pretty much went down the drain about half way though when the focus, for some reason, shifted to pointless battles (no one cares about) and Negi gaining more and more unrealistic powers. Even the romantic elements which made the first several volumes interesting were for the most part abandoned. This manga really should have stayed a romantic comedy and ended after 10-20 volumes!

This is only the second time I managed to read 20+ volumes of a manga and wasn't able to finish it -- I dropped it somewhere in the middle of volume 33 as I didn't feel any connection what-so-ever to the story anymore.

I like the manga but i dont know why they just dont use honyas artifact to find Negis father they know his name and her artifact reads minds maybe honya needs to actually of met the person i dont know
