Well, I'm not sure if I missed something from the others. But I think this manga was pretty solid. The story gradually became better and better. The ending was pretty good as well.
Anyway, truth to be told, I loved this manga!
The art is great is simply fantastic. It is well drawn and beautifully executed especially the battles. It has some humor in it which i find not that bad.
The storyline is lovable. It is very interesting seeing how a ten year old kid trying to control a class full of mischievous girls.
I find the girls are beautiful and lively. You will love them. I especially love Nodoka and Ku Fei.
The only complaint I have is that the author takes a break to much. I want negima every weak RAWRRR.
Frankly, I love this series, comedy, drama, magic, & cute boys a few of its many great quailities. But as a girl (straight), I have to say you can tell he draws h-manga on the side... so much ecchi DX
It has an amazing story. It has a great balance of action, drama, romance and comedy. There are a lot of unique characters, all of whom play an important part and are all developed throughout the manga Too bad it is underrated compared to other more commercialized titles like Naruto & Bleach. Also it is disappointing to see that some people put it down just because of the large amount of fan-service it has. Please look over the panty shots and get down to the story.
I see that some people say it is boring. Well compared to Bleach & Naruto whose battles take the span of dozens of chapters Negima is a lot more interesting. I have read up to the latest chapters of both Bleach & Naruto and I love the two series so don't think I am biased. I just think that those two mangas pale in comparison to Negima.
On a side note the huge library in my school has only one manga series on its shelf and that is Negima. Strange to think that it is the only one they deemed good enough to be put there and even stranger is that the administration doesn't seem to care that it has fan-service.
Please ignore all the negative comments. This manga is simply amazing. Basically, it's so far been seperated into two parts - the first part being more romance/side character introduction, and the second part (starting at chapter 169) being more shounen/main character introduction. If you haven't read past chapter 170, please do not feel that you can give this manga a fair score.
Also ~ the ecchi and sex-related scenes in this manga are meant for nothing but comedy, as it is obviously portrayed, because the main character IS a 10 year old boy. He doesn't get nosebleeds, or embarrassing hardons, he simply blushes and laughs a bit. It's enjoyable.
Also, for those saying it's obvious that main character won't die and it's simplistic - read up to chapter 220. You are waaaay off. Not saying Negi dies, which he doesn't, but still. This turns into a much darker and somber manga than one would expect.
Great! Akamatsu has really out done himself. Its funny and full of action.
One of the best Manga i ever read. I highly recommed you read it.
It says continue on volume 11 and theres no volume 11. Can anyone tell me when volume 11 comes?or if they stop?anyone anser me!
BEST of the best!!! this manga (and anime) are the greatest of all and is perfect by any form!
....... I just can't control myself while wating for new chapters!!! XD
While there are romantic and comedy elements in Negima, after the first volume the plot really picks up. The twists and turns as Negi faces enemies and learns to be a stronger mage are just incredible. At this point it's pretty clear that none of the girls are there without a purpose, every one of them seems to bring something to the table that will help Negi in his quest to learn what happened to his father - The Thousand Master. This is simply one incredible manga!
good read for fun. Don't appreciate loose ends or so many short cuts(end felt quite rushed and rapid all things considered) but there's a sequel so perhaps some things will eventually be settled, you know the whole WHO THE HELL HE ENDS UP WITH. haven't started reading UQ yet looks interesting read about the main and who hes related to but that's just made me even more confused........
negi the sperm donor helping out his yuri friends? .
