Description

Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself.

This is not your average generic romance self-insertion wankfest where the all-too-perfect girl falls for the blandest, most boring guy there is. No. This is a most adorable tale of two weird people getting closer.

He is a gloomy loner with a bit of a chuuni vibe (only in the beginning) and a thing for slight sarcasm. She, while being the tall beauty of the class, having regular friends and what have you (Aha! So she IS the all-too-perfect girl falling for the guy that is anything but, after all?!), is super quirky, sometimes insecure and likes to eat (which is good, because eating is fun) ... but all in a super cute and funny way (and I'm not talking about Manga/Anime fake cute rubbish).
They are wonderful together. Watching the two grow is bliss. Come and get your weekly dose of feel-good! It'll make you smile.
This seriously is one of the best romcoms you can find in the recent times. Don't just stop reading in the early chapters. There's comedy, there's character development and there's also huge story progression as we go forward to the next volume. The interactions between the two leads are too good, not just wholesome but felt realistical. It's a slow burn romcom so make sure you stick with it until the end.

Don't let the last comment fool you, there's actual romance, just let it progress a few chapters more.
The description and 1 chapter gives a false impression of what the manga is about. Basically the story is about a weird guy who does nothing but watch the class idol non stop. He’s always watching her and listening to her conversations. Occasionally he will do something to help her but secretly of course. It’s really boring after about 5 chapters. It might would be different if they started to get to know each other or started hanging out. Don’t get fooled by another false romance tag.
