I usually avoid reading oneshots because I hate how condensed they have to be, but, after hearing this one was getting its own series, I decided to take a chance on it. I'm glad I did! "It and Lily" reuses the rather typical "supernatural detective agency" premise but adds a surge of freshness and originality to it with the comedic and high-chemistry titular duo. Though the plot of this oneshot isn't exactly novel, the characters and their interactions are what breathe life into it. The earnest, naive Wilhelm, the hotheaded Lily, and the playful, apparently gay demon It mesh together nicely to create a hilarious environment of misunderstandings and melodrama. If you're looking for a laugh or else some very cute artwork, I urge you to check it out. I look forward to reading its series continuation! As for this oneshot on its own, I give it a solid 9!
