but well peer pressure smile) it's really gooood and funny but wth, the ending.. the ending well let's just say that it would've been better if the mangaka didn't squeezed everything into the last volume. but since I didn't have high expectations for this one so it's really ok for me! I really had fun reading it smile and the drawing's nice even though others didn't like it

I really like the first chapter so far. I just hope it doesn't go bad!
I just love how Matsumoto Tomo makes the characters act. It's so different from other manga and it's just in the little things. It's amazing to think how those little things give it a completely different feel from other manga. I also love how the main character can be lost but not bubbly like most.

Stories that leaves us with a smile on our faces ^_^

You may call me weird, but I love Matsumoto's drawings. They are different, but in a good way, I actually think they are quite interesting. Her stories are always pretty funny, and the plot evolves smoothly, which makes it really relaxing to read. I needed to write this here 'cause I was surprised by other's reaction upon her drawings and all. Well, about this specific story, I thought it was pretty good and it ended in a really great way, very compatible with the characters. If you look at it, many of the manga school stories nowadays have almost the same "love" plot and so on, but the unique characters and the situations the author created leaves us another kind of feeling about this one. I think that if you want to read one great story in which people are not overly obsessed about their love relationships (except for the guy who likes Eimi, not Wanichin, the other one), you should try it for sure.

There's something about the end that needs to be said, some spoilers:

Spoiler (highlight to view)
The ending was rushed, but it's kind of funny how he steals her, just like a beast aiming for his pray. Oh, and although it seems to get deeper, there's no too much dark angst in this story! That's what makes it most enjoyable and relaxing about this one, like taking a vacation or something. It's good that they can laugh and make us laugh on each chapter even though some things are hard. They could have passed the daughter at the end, though, which was a little confusing, but also gave the feeling that their lives went smoothly, just like the story itself, been then compatible.

Mini Review of Sorts

I read and loved Kiss, which is why I grabbed this soon as I saw it on the shelves. This could have been so much better. It was like the mangaka suddenly decided to finish up the story, and she packed so much info into the last two volumes that we end up more knowing about Wanibuchi than we ever did for the first three volumes combined. o_O I would recommend reading it (maybe rent it or something), but not actually buying it unless you're a fan of her works.

Ending. It sucked. I didn't even know who the girl at the end was untill I read it for the 6th time. I hated the author so much. A waste of my time.

Not Worth The Space on Your Computer

I'll admit, it started off really good. Eimi's not your typical shoujo lead, and Wachinin [sp?] I pretty cute. I mean, the characters were able to make up for the lack of a good story plot, bad art and the abundant amount of overplayed "shoujo" ideas. You know, were the girl falls in love with the first cute guy she sees, were that guy just "happens" to only pay attention to that girl and seems to only care for her after a lifetime of not caring for anyone. Honestly, I don't see the logic behind that, I mean if you've spent your whole life not caring for ANYTHING, why should a random person you just happen to meet change everything? Anyways, the last straw was the ending. I've never seen such a cobbled together, wishy-washy, crappy, lackluster in the sense of details, ending in my life. I had to read the last couple pages over again to make sure what I was reading was true. It seemed to me that the mangaka was trying to squeeze a happily every after ending out by using 5 pages as her limit. I mean, I would have preferred a sad, tragic ending than the mess we got. I feel as if the mangaka cheated everyone who bought the entire series out of a hard-earned 50 bucks [10 for each volume]. Not worth the hard drive on your computer, after I'm done typing this I'm going to Barnes & Nobles to see if I can get my money back.

I thought the storyline was a bit boring and the artwork looked...meh, but I gave it a try, and I ended up buying all 5 vols! It turned out to be funny and interesting, the only thing bad about it is the artwork...their noses looked too pointy

I admit the description at first was interesting so it gave me the push to actually read the manga in the first place. Anyway, I'm going to go right to the point and say that the drawings are a complete TURN OFF. Everytime I turned the page I couldn't help but draw in missing noses and mouths myself because that's how much it bothered me while reading it. If I didn't know any better I would have thought this manga was about aliens living in a dormitory because that's what the characters looked like to me. Blunt, but very true. As for the actual story, like I said before I thought the back description was interesting that's why I decided to even read the book in the first place even though I was iffy about the drawings; but the story was kind of a let down it was interesting at times but overall I just couldn't take the whole plot or lack of plot seriously because of the drawings themselves.
