Description
Koizumi Shintarou is 30 years old, a virgin, and has isolated himself in his room for 15 years. He has become a burden on his father, Koizumi Yasujirou. One day, Shintarou makes a proposition that if Yasujirou gets a girlfriend, Shintarou will come out of his room. It turns out that Yasujirou has already made a girlfriend, a young beautiful woman, Yoshinaga Haruka, who is with Yasujirou for her own personal reasons. Yasujirou and Haruka decide to get married, but Yasujirou dies on their honeymoon. Now Haruka decides to take care of Shintarou, and so this weird "mother and son" are now livin...

Also, they did not exactly confirm that the old man had sex with her. Sure, they got married and went to a honey moon, but there is still a chance that they had not sex.... no matter how small that is.

Off beat and very interesting! Kind of remaind me of NHK a little with the hikikomori-type son
Couldn't bring myself to click with the story.

Why the hell did he not walk to her in the end?? Why?? Seriously, why the hell not??? That made the ending a hard one (in a great way). But why.............

Unlike most people here, I loved the ending, and I couldn't imagine it ending any other way. But the romance between the main characters was a bit forced though. Anyway It has a great art, nice ending and a really pretty female heroine

Who's the kid that called him daddy? Is it their kid?
I can't believe how that ending... made me feel like I was balancing on the edge of a cliff... not falling, but not on solid ground either... there's no closure.
SOooo unsatifying... Everything was great until the end.
eh... I'll give it 7 points for great art, and a sweet storyline
-3 points for the rushed ending.

But it really didn't go anywhere and frankly near the end it felt like the author was just rushing to finish it.
Really I can't believe thats how it ended. Horrendous. If this and Zero-one are any indication Gantz is going to be just as bad.
Worst ending ever.
Just too weird, imo even worse than sis-bro relationship -.- Falling in love with his mom who loved his father. Can't believe he doesn't even feel a bit bad to love the same woman his father did even after wasting 15 years of his dad's life.
