Description

A magician pretending to be a fool in order to get revenge On the day of her unwanted wedding, Winsty awakens as a magician after being brought back to life from being poisoned. In order to stop the constant attacks from her cousin who wants to be the head of the family and has done evil against Winsty and her parents, Winsty enters into a contractual relationship with a duke from a rival family. Behaving like a fool and wearing a mask, Winsty actively tries to regain honor and authority and comes face to face with an enormous conspiracy entwined with the empire’s emperor.

Such wasted potential... everything was fine halfway through.. yet now it feels like I've wasted precious minutes of my life reading 50 chapters of crap.

The plot was rushed so much in the later half, it gave me brain damage.

Wasted potential

Despite being a classic story, it still had potential. I liked the fact romance was not too invasive and the focus of the plot was on the FL regaining her place while faking to be a brainwashed idiot. Too bad the heroine suddenly becomes a genius despite being drugged and isolated from the outside world for years, all the events are rushed and the art quickly became sloppy and cheap, ending in an obviously quick and cringe finale.

It is one of those manhwa I'd really like to see adjusted and redrawn by a proper artist.

Story: Not bad, but as history progressed, it weakened, and ending is like everybody is tired of this webtoon.

Art: Im tired as much as artist, even if at the end characters att least isnt drawed as bad as i see in 'Dark Love of Nine Tailed Fox' (or second title which i dont remember but its psychological with emperor), but all that background... no, i should say there is almost NO BACKGROUNDS, colorfull splashes is worst than copy-paste same forest in whole chapter.

The plot is a little interesting

I'm intrigued to see where this will go, but the art leaves a lot to be desired. Facial expressions are minimal, and instead we must rely on the text effects to know what the characters are feeling. The interactions between ML and FL are a bit lukewarm...and is only now sort of warming up.

The villainess is very villainess and strangely has a lot of power...and delusions of power? I can't wait until she gets her just desserts.

Also, I'm sketchy about the continuity of magic in the story. Seems like wizards/magic users aren't commonplace, but they do exist. Yet nobody but FL and those around her seem to use it? And then all of a sudden, magic stones can be made by the villainess?

Nice art but really boring panelling and story narration. I’ve read up to ch21 and don’t feel motivated to keep reading.

Dropped at Ch28

The story is focused on the female lead trying to regain her rightful place and title. The romance is minimal, and the most important bits are the characters' reactions to events, not the events themselves.

The art is interesting but at times its hard to tell characters apart. I wouldn't recommend it, because I don't really think these reactionary characters are very different or interesting.
