Love to this story hate that manta picked this up

I really loved this story and highly recommend it for everybody who loves boys love stories that aren’t toxic. This one had a few curveballs fit but nothing major.

So far it doesn’t seem Manta picked up any of the side stories - so hopefully they do come eventually. This is definitely not the story’s fault. It’s just that when Manta picks things up sometimes this happens. I’m so invested in the story that even if I can find them scanned somewhere, I’ll read them.

Really, for it being the author and artist's first work and a collab work I have to say that's it's really great so far.

Both the writing, art characters and even side characters: great. The art gets even better over time. Both male MCs and even side characters have you interested, personalities very clear, consistent.

It really comes off like a romantic novel where two main characters learn to fall in love with each other after having their hearts broken by an unrequited love, mixed in with some bad guys going after one of them and one of them being the protector (as a police officer). Except this webtoon "novel-esq" work features two male characters.

Do give the official English a read on Manta app. (It's R15 but that's soooo immensely better than an All Ages rating. It at least leaves in the smut scenes but censors certain body parts).

I would love to see them collab on another work another time in the future.

I really, really enjoyed reading it. The artstyle is not exactly my cup of tea but I enjoyed it either way. The writing in some moments was kinda poor, I was annoyed a lot of time and I still don't understand why he had to sold that house😫😫 Either way I definitely recommend reading it.

The story is definitely not my taste. A narrow-minded and stubborn 30 year old MC who fell in love with his childhood friend and never confessed it. After the friend gets married and soon becomes a father, the MC doesn't let go of his love. MC meets Ml at the wedding. He spends the whole 57 chapters just whining and feeling sorry for himself. When the MC gives in to the ML to get rid of him, something slowly develops. It's a miracle that the ML even tolerated this depressive type. From this point on you think, oh that took a long time until the author suddenly turned the relationship box into a crime novel in chapter 58. The lack of the s3x scenes obviously also plays a role, as a relationship development also took place here and the MC's giving in is made clear. And yes it's a so-called "green flag" but for me it's not a very good story. When the main actor just yammer and whines, it was just annoying. The art wasn't really stable and it felt like there were two different artists. What was particularly evident in the side story. What was beautifully drawn is the image that Soojung brought in (chapter 81 manta or 85 mature version). If the artist Wonyoung had drawn the whole story the same way, I might have felt sympathy for the MC.
