Basically I'm looking for a male lead who is sweet and gets nervous around the girl he likes. No one flirty, cocky, or arrogant please. Boys like that are starting to grate on my nerves... Here are some examples of what I'm looking for:

Bitter Virgin - Gets insanely nervous around the girl he likes. (The first few pages play him off as flirty/arrogant but that doesn't hold true in the rest of the series.)
Bird Kiss - The guy doesn't really get flustered at all, but he's extremely sweet. The girl's the arrogant one. >.>
Otomen - The guy's the one that dreams of having the cliche shoujo romance with the girl he likes. Gets very nervous around her and is insanely sweet.

YES. You win. I also am a huge fan of Akagami no Shirayukihime in general, and the sweet romance and Zen in particular.
I would second everyone's reccomendations of Strobe Edge. All the love is shy and soft and sweet without any of the overdone bravado. It's really beautiful.
Tonari no Megane-kun is all meltingly sweet adorableness to my memory, though I haven't read it in a little while.
Likewise, I would suggest reading anything and everything by Midorikawa Yuki, since her characters are always sweet. The art is minimalistic, but her stories are beautiful.
Nanairo Sekai - the title oneshot about a boy with glasses and the girl who sits next to him is the sweetest thing I've ever read. I'd also reccomend all of Yumeka Sumomo/Sahara Mizu's shoujo oneshots, since they're always lovely. Beware, though, she writes some shounen-ai, which I avoid, but her shoujo stories are amazing and should not be missed.
Immortal Rain has some of the sweetest and most innocent romance - and the most stunningly adorable pairing - I've ever had the chance to read. Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you share my tastes) it also has a very, very deep story wrapped around it.
Mekakushi no Kuni - Land of the Blindfolded is a perfect example of sweet romance. Kanade and Arou are an adorable couple.
Kingyo Sou - IF NOTHING ELSE, READ THIS. This is the cutest series ever, and reminds me of Akagami no Shirayukihime a lot. It's about a deaf boy and the girl who falls in love with him. Sweetness abounds.

Saboten no Himitsu - about a girl loving a nice guy but hes really dense so he doesnt realize anything until it hits him in the head, its cute 😉
