I'm looking for a manga centered around the character that you don't expect anything from: the loser, the loner, the weak one (you know what I mean). And I want to see him do things that amaze the characters around him. Not just a classic weak to strong but basically one with lots of gratifying 'victory moments' for the protagonist. smile

RRR (Rock n' roll Ricky)
Fly, Daddy, Fly

Please list anything that you think of but please note any mature content (things you wouldn't want your 10 year old sister to see). Thank you. smile

Edit:
I don't really mind if someone mentions something that I've already read. But, if you check my list only check the Complete list because my lists are hard to navigate (disorganized) roll

I think The Breaker and its sequel has what you're looking for. The protagonist should be really weak compared to everyone around him (who have trained all their lives among the secret society of super martial artists), but somehow he ends up winning and/or not going down when he's supposed to... over and over.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
near the beginning he takes some sort of super pill that reacts to is physiology in some way to allow this...originally he has a medical condition that makes him even weaker than a normal person

edit: and now I see it was in your list and I wasted my time. Try Kiseijuu.

Meteor
Seiketsu no Haguruma
Zelphy of the aion
Area D
Aphorism (sort of, but he also gets stronger)
The wallflower
Tokyo girls destruction
There's also a few characters in 7 seeds that are like that, they act as the main sometimes but they aren't the main characters.
I think Kuroko no basuke motly fits...but he's not a complete loner...just goes unnoticed.

You're already reading mosty of the things I was going to suggest to you XD
like Apocalypse no Toride, Kokou no hito and [m]Torikage no tsugai[/m]. It's quite difficult to navigate through them, since they're so thorough ^^ so there may still be some doubles in there.

@ jedinat
Yeah, The Breaker is a perfect example. smile I should've thought of that. I loved that series and its exactly what I'm looking for. I don't really mind repeats... I recognize that my lists are pretty hectically organized (that is so strangely organized that only I can understand them). Thanks also for the second rec. looks good!

@Tsubamex
Wow, thanks! They all look good. Kono Jinruiiki no Zelphy seems like its exactly what I wanted from the description . I've seen the anime for The Wallflower and Kuroko no basuke and certainly would agree that they work (I'd never thought of Sunako as being an unexpected hero until now). I'd agree with you on Tokyo girls destruction and the others you mentioned that I've read. Sorry that my lists are so psychotic. laugh you really didn't have to look through them...

---FYI---
From now on, if you want to check my lists only check the Complete List. eyes I've probably forgotten what is on most of the other ones anyway bigrazz (I'll edit the original request too.)

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (Novel)
The main character is the underdog and clearly branded as a loser when he's actually on a far higher level than any of other characters in there. You'll understand when you read it, it's very complex and amazing.
It definitely fits the description of things that amaze the characters around him. He did this countless of times in every single volume.

Busou Renkin
One Punch Man just one look at Saitama and you'd never expect him to be able to destroy anything in one punch.
Break Blade guy turns what is in his world, essentially, a disability into a trump card against enemy forces.
Initial D At first at least. Who expects a challenge from a tofu delivery car.
Pumpkin Scissors the main characters are part of a unit created to help reorganize their country after a long war. The rest of the military calls them the "party unit" since it appears they don't do any actual military work. Now if that were the case, I wouldn't suggest it.

Edit for taking out mature titles =)

Used to be a good series. It gets ULTRA boring after awhile, but yeah it's a good read at first. Something changes and all the story and character development goes out the window and is replaced by endless two page spreads of car races that are covered in speed lines.

Cross Game kind of reminds me of Bad News Bears. The original movie, not the terrible remake.

@Lorska
Yumekui Merry looks promising. Even though the description was a little confusing. I started reading and it looked unique smile
@ Lyrad
Thanks for the recommendation I haven't read many novels but it sounds like it fits perfectly. I'll give it a try. Btw, your signature is so awesome, (the main reason I commented)
@silent killer
I love One Punch Man and the others seem good as well. i appreciated your description of how the series fit. Though you didn't have to delete the mature ones just mention in the description (I don't like being surprised by perverse things laugh )
@soraking
I started to watch Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! and Over Drive but never got around to reading them--your help is much appreciated smile wink grin I was wondering if The Legend of Maian is worth reading even though its on hiatus...

Legend of Maian is definitely worth reading. Its a shame that Dal Young has a million ongoing series though.
