I'm baaaack! 😀

This time, I'm looking for a manga of any genre - and I do mean ANY genre - that reverses a cliché. I don't just mean a slightly different take on a cliché, but a total, perfect reversal. It could be any kind of cliché, but it should be well-known and expected enough that the reversal shocks you - or just surprises you, or makes you more or less interested in the manga, depending on your preferences. It should also be really obvious to you that you're reading a cliché reversal - as in, that should be the first thing that pops into your mind. ("Hey, this isn't how it's supposed to go!")

For example, a manga in which the capable princess rescues the helpless, weepy prince.

Or an ecchi manga where the female is a lewd, dirty-minded, potty-mouthed groper, and the guys go "kyaaa"!

Or a shoujo romance where the girl ends up with the last guy she meets, not the first.

Or a yaoi manga where the couple are perfect, equal-opportunity switchers - not "uke" and "seme".

Or a shounen manga where the hero goes off on stupid, long-winded soliloquys until the villain defeats him.

Or a hentai manga where a beautiful, barely-legal boy gets gang-banged by a bunch of fat, hairy, ugly old ladies.

Or any manga where instead of flower-patterns at romantic moments, you have weirdly violent patterns like bombshells or tombstones (hey).

Or a villain who has a villainish sob instead of the signature villainish laugh. 😀

Anything crazy like that! Remember that I'm looking for a TOTAL REVERSAL of the cliché, not just a slightly different variation of it.

I'll try and suggest some ...
Gakuen Ouji (Instead of girls being harassed by males this manga does it the other way around .. in a former all girls school where there are 10 girls for every 1 boy the boys are getting sexually harrassed by the girls ...)
Aspirin (This also just barely fits the decription ... the main character is more like an anti-hero so his actions are predictable after some time ...)
Baccano! 1931 The Grand Punk Railroad (I only watched the anime - Baccano! - and there are quite a bit of unexpected moments also kinda twisted stuff...)
Kinda hard to find something that fits your description I'll try to suggest more once I find some.

I don't know if it's what you are looking for, but Maniattemasu! is quite... strange. Most of people can't stand it, but I think it's OK when you know that it actually is a parody.

The main female character is quite silly and thinks she is cute... but guys around her find it annoying. However, she's not aware of this.
I read it long time ago, so I may have made a mistake somewhere :)

The Cliché: Shounen heroes are charismatic fellows with big hair and bigger mouths who are secretly kind and wish to protect their families. They resist all evil and always triumph after some training and powerups. Battles are interminably long and last for chapters on end.

The Reverse Cliché: Nabari no Ou. Miharu is a boy who has no charisma, is cruel to people for the fun of it, and is completely indifferent to the world around him. He lives with his grandma and makes okonomiyaki, and does not really care about protecting his friends. He doesn't resist all evil—given the right motivation, he joins the "bad guys". Battles are fast-paced and realistic. People die. People who get injured stay injured. Terminal illness is dealt with, etc.

There's also Clover (Otsu Hiyori): a shoujo-ai where the boyish-looking girl with short hair is the uke and the feminine-looking girl with wavy hair is the seme.

I don't really think Stroke Material fits. It's still pretty much typical rape smut, except that the girl doesn't think it's worth it to resist. Anyway, I really hated it.

Hmmm...maybe Supersonic Angel Engine? I'm not really sure if it's like what you're looking for, but the angels and demons concept in that manga is pretty twisted. (More interesting than the typical "saintly angel and devilish demon" thing, anyway.)
