i think luppi was awarded the number. he didn't take it. grimmjaw lost it when he lost his arm. in any case there are still two threes, all the demoted espada are centennial she she isn't demoted... idk ... 😕

She was thrown out in the desert, and everyone was too lazy or just didn't care to find her and remove her number.

how is it that the vizard knew about aizen....when they arent connected to it, and shinji(spelling?) said he knew about it for a while, so....here is my theory

aizen helped them out, thats how they knew about his betrayal, and the hogkyuo(spelling 😕 ?, sorry everyone, i am a bad speller), and he wanted to see how far ichigo could go, thus why he said he was truly interesting for a human when he left soul socity, maybe aizen will try to recruit him, i dont know, but thats about as far as i got into it...
any idea's about it?

Well, they haven't really said anything explicitly about in the manga. So I have totally no clue how the Vizards and Aizen are connected. T.T

Hi there, I'm just wondering if it was already explained why ichigo became a vaizard? I can understand him being a shinigami but why turned into a vaizard and if urahara knows it already during ichigo's training that he will become a vaizard, then why?

Um, from what I remember, he became a Vaizard in order to control the Hollow in him. He was afraid he would be consumed by the Hichigo, I think. Anyway, wasn't that why he was approached by Shinji in the first place?

He already had Vaizard powers when he trained with Urahara and jumped out of that deep well(?). Though they were still dormant. But gradually during the SS arc, the Hollow inside him became stronger until he couldn't control it anymore. That was the period when Shinji approached him.

And whether Urahara knew that or not, that he would become a Vizard. I don't know. But he probably would have, I think. Since it's rather an unconventional way of attaining your Shinigami powers. Maybe due to forcibly gaining his Shinigami powers while he was still human, he got Vizard powers with it?

Tite hasn't fully explained that yet. >.<

yeah, that's what i think, that he already became a vaizard when he was just training with urahara. I thought i missed something in the manga and anime that i didn't catch any explanation why ichigo became a vaizard. But it really wasn't explained yet, thanks dr. love.

ichigo still has a masked on his right eye on whe he defeated grimmjaw

but other vaizards whose mask does not completely covered its face has normal look on the side which is not covered by mask. i can't remember who, but i think there is a vaizard whose mask does not completely covered the face

No, there isn't.

And about the mask, he still was a Vizard in fact. But his mask broke off gradually during the fight. And also Tite wanted to show that blue aura that Ichigo always had in danger; his 'own power'. So instead of relying on the Vizard powers, Ichigo brought out his own massive reiatsu out from deep within him to finish off Grimmjow.

I dont think it has to do with forcibly gaining his Shinigami powers, I think it would more have to do with him transforming into a hollow at the same moment he awakened his powers as a Shinigami, therefore he became both.
