I don't usually read Shoujo. I like comedies and shonen-ai. I was totally blown away though by Boys Over Flowers (Hana Yori Dango). The characters are great, the romance and misunderstandings are mostly believable, the comedy is hilarous and best of all it's a LONG series. (36 volumes!)
Also, you might try The Bride of the Water God. The artwork is gorgeous, and the storyline is interesting. It's still be scanlated, but I think it's worth the wait. 🙂

thanks for all the great suggestions. This is a little of topic but I wanted to know if there is a section to post requests for scanlations?? I think it would be easier then going to each scanlation groups sites and posting a request me thinks.. 😁

Seinen, with romance?
If you haven't, definitely try
Maison Ikkoku (complete raws and scans) : you liked Suzuka, right? Well, Suzuka borrowed quite some elements from this title 😉 .
Victorian Romance Emma (complete raws, scans up to chap #10 of the gaiden stories (VRE Bangaihen), but main story is complete and available, really good. Some good drama, and some comedic relief here and there) and
Bitter Virgin (ongoing raws and scans): sensitive topics, but also with some sweet and/or touching moments.
Eternal Sabbath (romance, no comedy though. It's a psychological-sci-fi with some gory scenes thing though)
Blood Alone (ongoing raws and scans). Vampire story, but mostly with a quiet, tender slice-of-life flavour.
Shoujo... hmmm...
Lovely Complex is a delightful shoujo with lots of comedy and gags (complete raws, ongoing scans), really funny. No big drama here, but hey, sometimes it's good to take a rest and smile 😉 .
If you look for drama,
Kare Kano (complete rawsand scans) has lots of it in its latter half, while
Mars has tons of it period (and very good art. Same artist of Eternal sabbath, but totally different genre and mood, although with a knack for digging into human mind -and a bit twisted-).
Motomi Kyousuke is DA (WO)MAN ;D
